I think the following steps if followed should help in reducing corruption in our beloved country Nigeria.

1. Public offices should be made less attractive.

2.Public servants should be made to realise what they are: 'SERVANTS'.

3. We must learn to stop glorifying thieves (i.e those that have stolen public funds or defrauded others).

4. Nigerians must stop the act of idolising? Or praising our so called 'big men'. The want for such praises often lead people into wanting to make it by hook or crook.

5.Public office holders must learn to move about with less escort/show of power(or is it fear?) I must commend Govs Oshiomole and Fashola in this regard.

6.Any wrong show of afflence? Or opulence showed be shunned.
Any form of stolen wealth (yahoo yahoo, rituals, dirty politics etc) must be frowned at and not encouraged ATALL!

7.The value of HONOUR should be instilled in all. By this I mean
-being a man of your words
-taking responsibility for your actions
-being content
And this can also be achieved if we refuse to allow others dampen our self esteem with their ill-gotten wealth.

@blackteeth @eduson33 How many people do you want eliminated? Half of the country or 3/4 of the country? Am sure you realise corruption is in every angle. There has to be other ways of curbing it. I propose outright condemnation of it and public re- orientation.
More emphasis should be placed on the need for a good name other than riches. What goes out to the public from Nolly wood and media houses should tailored to this effect and so on.
I may be talking jargon but I just contributed my quota.
