Channels Television’s breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily. Recently grant Interview to Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Obafaiye Shem, Mr Shem quipped that the website opened by impostors to defraud unsuspecting job seekers would be automatically closed. He was then asked this question: What’s the website of the NSCDC?

Mr Shem kept stuttering, pausing and was generally ‘all over the place’, so just in case you missed anything, below is the transcript of the conversation.
Commandant Shem: The website of NSCDC….yes we (inaudible)…the…I cannot categorically tell you one now because the one that we’re….

Channels TV Anchor 1: (interrupts) Do you have multiple websites?
Commandant Shem: Wait, wait…the one that we are going to make use of, I’m not the one that is going to create it.
Channels TV Anchor 1: See…the question is, what is your website?
Commandant Shem: (interrupts) waaaaaaaait…
Channels TV Anchor 1: Okay

Commandant Shem: The one that we are going to make use of is going to be made known by my oga at the top…yes…I can’t announce one now and the oga says it’s another one that we are going to use…
Channels TV Anchor 2: (chips in) Oh, the NSCDC has multiple websites?
Commandant Shem: The something…we..we…we cannot have multiple websites but the one that is *coughs* that *stutters*…that my oga…

Abeg Make una leave this man alone jare! How many DGs, ministers, AIGs etc can tell u their websites? Ask Mr. President to tell you at least one ministry url, u will be surprised. I wonder o, the only thing that amused me was the remix..

My oga at the top" (was a joke) while the "www.nscdc.that's all" (ICT, Information, Communication and Technology novice). Governments need ICT training even Mr President, so embarrassing when Christiane Amapour was interviewing him some months back. Government lack ICT knowledge.
