akinwole21: thanks everyone. the briefing went well,Msc students were given specific schools to change to as NDDC is partnering with these schools in order to get tuition discount which ll b a plus to scholars. about calling others, it was mentioned that they will contact some pple but i donno much about that. we had transport allowance and snack. i did not encounter any challenge as regards the call i received yesterday. we were also told that the letters will be ready in 2-3 wks. i hope this is helpful. thanks once again

well examexpert, d process may be free and fair for u. Wat wil u say abt my case and odaz? I came 3rd in my state imo 2 b precise with a score of 38, i submitted all document as requested and am certain I did well in my orals bekoz d director even congratulated me on dat day, but I wasnt invited. Wat wil u also say abt akinwole who got a call tellin him to disregard d sms he earlier recieved? In my own opinion, it was free and fair to sm extent, while dia was a little bit of flaws and long leg. Diz na Naija we dey. U cant rule dat wan out. Datz all

4rm all indication dev contacted all successful candidates. Congrats to all who made it. To those of us who didn't, I advice we swing to plan B if any or prayerfully plan 4next year. Its quite sad esp 4 those who have attempted twice nd above. D truth still remains that every1 can't get it Simultaneously, since we didn't make it dis year, nxt year can be ours.

I dont have an actual figure but it should be in the range of 100-120 scholars

Hello Otexzy, Happy sunday.

Lets do a little "Estimated calculus"...... Am doing this because am not too sure of the actual total numbers of scholars from 9 NDDC states.

Plastic white chairs on each both side, 5 on a roll, 9 rolls on side-A, while 11 on side-B. Couple to that, we still had some scholars still standing behind as there were no seats left for them to occupy.

So:
5X9=Y "45"
5X11=X "55"
X+Y= 100
100 Seating Scholars + Those standing = Estimated 115 - 125

So you should know that we have "Merit Scholars and Political Scholars"

All i know is 200 Scholarships will be Awarded within 9 NDDC states.

So the remaining numbers are to be shared by the OGA-on-TOP, which is called "ORDER FROM ABOVE"

Am only estimating this..........

SO DON'T QUOTE ME RIGHT, THIS IS ONLY A KNOWLEDGE SHARED ENVIRONMENT... ALSO CALLED THE VIRTUAL WORLD

i wish us all the best and lets remain great ambassadors of our family and country wherever we are representing Nigeria.

Here's my advise to those of us that were not called, stop trying to analyze this whole process it will only give you a heartache at the end. I learnt my lessons last year but I must tell you, I didn't regret not going for MSc last year because I got a very cool job a few weeks I was disappointed by NDDC. I applied again this year because I still the need to improve myself and to utilize this opportunity. Put your trust in God and move on, I can assure you God has a very BIG plan for you. You will definitely go for you MSc/PHD in grand style at the right time.
