I accidentally stumbled on this site about 8 months ago while randomly surfing the net. A thread caught my attention at the time (can’t remember the topic but I think it was something to do with a horrible first date). A lot of people responded with comments of varying extremes however, the comments of a particular user caught my attention and for the weeks that followed, I started frequenting NL as a guest. The more I visited the more I became acquainted with the usernames of active users and the uniqueness and ‘trademark’ of their comments especially the ones of this user in particular. Over the past few months, I think I have developed a crush the size of Mt. Kilimanjaro on this user.
A lot of N.landers may think I am delusional……I mean having a crush on a user in a faceless forum is just crazy but think about it, what does it actually entail to know someone enough to have a crush?
This question, although rhetorical will have different answers but I think a crush should not be based on only looks and physical attraction (I am yet to see the user’s picture).
The good book says and I quote ‘from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks’ or as in this case, the fingers type. I have read through a lot of this user’s topics and comments (which are quite a handful) and believe it or not, I have seen her heart.
A woman’s heart is the most attractive thing about her and I have grown fond of this user’s heart and I think her heart suits me just fine.
