At the root of this latest threat to Nigeria's existence is the persistent attacks by Fulani terrorist on villages and communities in the Middle belt. These terrorist herdsmen have succeded in dislodging entire villages in some parts of Plateau state and have now shifted base to Nasarawa. The sad thing is, in over five years of these persistent attacks on rural communities, the security agents have never carried out a successful military operation to root these terrorist from their base. Since January 2013, several villages in Nasarawa have come under attack and the reason the casualty has been minimal is cos the ombatse group have defended their people against the fulanis. I sympathise with the families of the slain police officers but truth is security agencies have failed to check the on going destruction and annihilation of middle belt communities by fulani mercenaries.
