Nice point you have there. But i will tell you something i do know. The very first 20 yrs of my life was spent in the north part of Nigeria. So trust me i know all there is to know about that part of the country. Also i pass through Katsina once a month as i have a site there and its kind of mandatory for me to go there every month ( part of my job). I will tell you and am sure any one who has been there recently would tell you same. The town is alot different, you dont  need to go far. From the entrance you would notice. Its not just paved roads, what was dust back then has been tared, a professional job not what we are used to seeing.
All the schools have new structures plus staff houses. The trip is that this state gets the list allocation in Nigeria from the Federal Government and still was able to do all this. Now what would you say about states like Delta, Edo and the rests with the highest allocation and the governors have nothing to show for it. Honestly if truth be told, that man worked in Katsina. What is needed there now is management. Would you believe that in the 8 years he spent in that state, he was one one the easisest individual to see, the government house gate was wide opened all all one wld need to do is walk right in and you are guaranteed to see him. Considering the fact that Katsina has high level of illiteracy, the first female doctor in Katsina is still in her 40s what would you expect a wise governor to do for his people. Its build school, school and school and thats all he did. Lastly have you been to the state university? Did you know that Obasanjo thought one of the secondary schools in Katsina was the state university until he was told, during his visit to katsina as president. My advice still is go and see for yourself.

anyway you guys organise and give knighthold or whatever chieftancy titles you can to the idiots that steal so it is not surprising you are excusing stupidity of this magnitude. a plane carrying hundreds of people for the next 6hrs or so is not a place to cause troubles above the skies. that is common sence you dont have to be nigerian to know that or go do it because others are doing it. some people died yesterday why not try that in the name of some people are doing it?

I am sorry but I live in a world were priorities matter to me. This case just happpened , so, did he also send priority letters to speed up the investigation of the cases of traficking involving Nigerian women being sold off to prostitution each year in europe while he was at it Cause I really find it hard to believe that this case had to get top priority when it just happened some days ago while the case of Nigerian women who are being shipped off to the same Europe to serve as sex slaves does not command same priority or even higher considering that it has been going on for longer and the culprits actually live large in Nigeria as we speak.

Another thing is this, we have seen cases of other nationals getting the same treatment in other countries and I have yet to see Bush or any other president make it his place to tackle it directly, whether or not the appropriate office does not get the papers in front of him or not.

To be honest with you, I hope he expresses the same for other petitions out there cause I think this is ridiculous for him to select one for PR gain and not treat the  others the same way.

O'Hare airport, one of the busiest airports in the world hardly has fatal accidents. plain and simple, aviation safety is an afterthought in nigeria but somehow how BA staff treats u is a bigger deal. again, where is the evidence that nigerians are being specifically targeted.
