Hello Everyone, Very pleased to see bi-racial blacks / light skin blacks discussing this hatred directed towards them. It's disgusting to deal with back stabbers who are driven by hatred. It's very important that those American blacks of fair complexion who socialize and categorize themselves as African American become aware of the discrimination and hatred directed at them. This treatment is not coincidental.... it is intentional hate. The first step is becoming AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. Next do not disavow yourself to appease dark skin African Americans. Do not brainwash yourself into believing you are not attractive because your non black ancestry or lack of African ancestry features. You are beautiful and deserve to enjoy life and be treated well. Learn to like yourself and become comfortable appreciating who you are physically. Next do not be afraid to build friendships and community with bi-racial or fair complexion blacks who embrace the same values and ideologies. You deserve to have healthy friendships with people who appreciate you and can relate to your life. Also, if you chose to embrace the category title of bi-racial instead of African American that is your choice and freedom to do. Don't let African Americans hassle you... they are not your friend anyhow. |

One important issue to remember here is that black American bi-racial or black light skin Americans are being discriminated against and treated poorly by dark complexion African Americans solely BECAUSE OF PHYSICAL APPEARNCE! The USA is very multicultural now and several different ethnic groups exist. The African American community has become more fragmented and no longer embraces everyone of black ancestry. For those who have less African Ancestry physical features or first generation bi-racial, a new ethnic group should be embraced to provide community and support (friendship) for those people. The smart fair complexion blacks and bi-racial individuals will stop accepting hate and mental abuse and embrace their own community and ethnicity. Build relationships with people based on common interest and struggle. Don't set yourself up for back stabbing by phony people acting like they like you and requiring you to act extremely humble around them. |
