It is GEJ's fault. He should have become the Governor of the all the states concerned and paid the salaries and allowances they are demanding. Just helping the haters out is all. 1 Like |

Only 11? There should be a strike in all 36 states for all public schools. How can we expect our country to prosper and become more developed if we can't take our greatest assets, teachers, seriously! We treat our teachers like trash...who do you expect to produce the next doctors, lawyer, etc? |

kalunomics: Look at how they are complaining about like they really do the job they are asking for the payment. I thought they've turned their staff room to markets, they should be able to make money out of it.So if ur parents are teachers you will pray they should depend on 9k minimum wage when their levels in other states are collecting 18k.How much is even 18k self?.That should be around 120 dollars or so.I could remember the time of Abacha must go saga in which you will see landlords putting to let as this ''HOUSE TO LET NOT FOT TEACHERS'''is that a good omen for teachers or must their rewards be in heaven when that of politricians and pocketicians are right here?. |

tinnymerit:Am not advocating Government owing them but rather will want them to implement the new salary structure all over the 36 states. What I am pointing out here is public school teachers lackadaisical attitude towards their vocation which is part of the reason why Nigeria is where it is today. We are always fast to point fingers on our public office holder when nobody is ever ready to give in his/her best when it comes to government-runned establishments. None of them would want to register their child/ward in public schools where they teach. |

The newly "refurbished" Ajaokuta steel alone in Kogi state can accomodate all the employed and the unemployed people of Ebonyi including your governor a good job, a better life... Dangote Cement in Obajana in Kogi st (The largest in west africa) alone can provide jobs for the next generation of Ebonyi citizens.. Do I also need to tell you your brothers in Anambra are already trying to possess the Oil in the land of Kogi? Just to mention few We can save y'all from this pestinence in Ebonyi. Starvation may strike soon, be warned. Tell your gubernatorial dullards to come beg Idris Wada in Lugard's house, Lokoja... |

It has become an habit in this country to owe and deprive teachers their pay in this country, (ever since I've been able to pronounce the word "teacher"). Every administration, be democratically elected or the military, is guilty of this. They do consider teachers as less than human and at the end of the day, they'd say "teachers reward is in heaven". |
