Get a competent mechanic to have a look at the fuel sending unit.

Not advisable. Park your car until you can afford it.

I believe the correct gear oil for your Infiniti should be "Matic J " not NS2 though they are the same price but use the correct one.

Big man motor, Big man expense....... He also better be prepared, it might not even be the gearbox transmission fluid (it might be something else over 20K)..... grin

Chilling at this time... what’s better than pampering the VQ37HR. Lifetime filter service and of course a throttle body cleanup for optimal performance. #Peeptheenginebay

Also saw this G35S from Singapore. Fully optioned to the hilt, Borla exhaust, steering paddles, I test drove it and let me tell you, I felt I was flying without wings!

Aww, fucc. I'm so jealous. One of my biggest regrets is not buying an S.

I fish tailed a couple of times, I don't know if i would be comfortable daily driving a car with all that power going to just the rear wheels.

I would prefer a G35XS, but those seem to be very rare.

Yes, they're rare. So I just bought an X. The RWD models are faster btw, since they're lighter, but I think I prefer not having my car squirm around when I gun it and it kicks down from 2nd to 3rd.

Scan the car first. It will give you an idea of what may be wrong.

Hello people.

Does anyone know where I can buy quality brake shoes for a 2000 Nissan Sentra ?

I have bought two already that I am cool with, they absorb moisture when parked overnight and grab the drum violently in the morning.
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by paking(m): 11:13am On May 18, 2020
Good day house, I'm having issues with my Nissan Altima 2002 transmission (auto transmission). After moving for like 15 minutes the gear will stop selecting. If I park and switch off the engine and wait for like one hour and start the car the gear will select and work perfectly for like 15 minutes and will stop selecting. My mechanic doesn't really know what is wrong with the gear. He brought one gear mechanic, the gear mechanic couldn't pinpoint what is wrong with the gear.

But one thing I noticed is that I started having this problem after changing the engine. I wasn't having this problem with the former engine. The former engine was smoking that's why I changed it. The gear was brought down, washed thoroughly and serviced when the engine was changed. Since then I have been having this problem of the gear not selecting after working for like 15 minutes

I'll be glad if you can tell me what is wrong and way out!

Thanks

Is the check engine light (or service engine soon light) on? If so, since when?
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by paking(m): 1:38pm On May 18, 2020
Check engine light or service engine soon light is on. It was permanently on with the former engine. Even with the new engine it's on. I serviced the car four days ago the light is still on
