Massob sit at home orders have always been successfull so i don't expect this one to be different. But what i don't understand is why the government is flooding the whole southeast and parts of southsouth with soldiers and police because of a non violent group while the fulanis goes on rampage in the middlebelt unchecked. I'm an igbo living in the north and i can boldly tell the world that no where is peacefull in the middlebelt. Ppl are killed in large quantities everyday in the middlebelt with out restraint by fulani. They even target and kill police and army patrols and checkpoints. We need a serious presence of the security forces here. There is very little police and army presence here. Since last two wks, the fulanis have been killing ppl in niger state(the state have been peacefull for sometime from them). And neither the state government nor the federal have bothered to checkmate them. They even killed the police.

o'boy:
ignoramus!
The protest has little or nothing to do with the biafran struggle
its just a rememberance day for 6 innocent igbo men your crazy tribesmen killed

From 2005?

Why haven't they protested in the last 8 years?
Why not protest for those killed by Boko Haram more recently?

You are still confused. grin

Lol. Sit at home on a Saturday. Apart from traders most folks usually sit at home on a Saturday. One would expect that traders are more likely to support Massob than people with white collar jobs or businesses.

Okija juju: I just called my people's in Awka and they are not happy.

Most of em are indoors not because they want to be, but because their security is not assured as these MASSOB touts are known to be violent.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

That is exactly what I guessed too. These guys are just hoodluns who think they can decide the lives of millions of ibos.

Damnit,go to court and fight the case.you can't win a lawsuit by organising protest, the court has the final decision.

Where are the educated folks in iboland for fokskake ?

What a weak attempt on you part at justifying an irrational move!
Going by your argument, what should the clansmen of the ALUU4 do? What about the Odi and the Zaki Biam people?.... And the list goes on. So, they should all hold the nation to ransom over injustice done to them.
Realistically, this nonsense order is almost similar to the root cause of the Boko Haram trouble, minus the violence of course.
What are you even spewing sef? Trashy trash!!!!!
it pains you,why?

Part of your brain meant for reasoning must be filled with Kogi soap, how does showing solidarity for people unjustly killed over some ethno-social crisis concern supporting Jonathan, my friend shut down that your system or whatever u use to type that nonsense

Are ibos the only people being killed by hausas ? What about the indigenious people of the north that have suffered more from these killings, how come they've not been organising protests ?

Ibos are fond of propaganda !

safarigirl: it is the rest of the Nigerians in the east that should be worried bout where they'll buy stuff from
This part justifies my point. The order is an ac of sabotaging the economy. Think before you criticize.

!

What the fck is wrong with you? The people of Aluu, zaki and odi didn't mourn their people, but igbos decide to mourn there's and you're spewing trash!
One of the odi sons even released a song with the incidence and his tribesmen decided to sing and dance to the blood of the massacre, even titling him 'egberipapa' on the process; but igbos value human life and decides to pay respect to the dead; without causing violence or mayhem and you say they hold the nation at ransom? Smh!
