Who cares about the blackman any more? He deserves to be a slave for 1 million years until he learns to stop killing and pulling down each other.

Once the leadership of Europe and America found out who we really are as Africans, they used every means and technique to keep us suppressed and in a servitude slave state. The “Willy Lynch” Syndrome was only used to perpetuate the slave mentality into the 21st century: Africans engaged in self-hate, which brought about disunity.

AFRICANGLOBE – For those of you who heard of it, this is an article Dee Lee was reading on a New York radio station. For those of you who didn’t hear it, this is very deep. This is a heavy piece and a Caucasian wrote it.

“They Are Still Our Slaves”

We can continue to reap profits from the Blacks without the effort of physical slavery. Look at the current methods of containment that they use on themselves: IGNORANCE, GREED, and SELFISHNESS.

Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once said, “The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in a book.

We now live in the Information Age. They have gained the opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of their fight for freedom, yet they refuse to read. There are numerous books readily available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon. com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight all along), but few read consistently, if at all.

GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of their 450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%).

Any of us can use them as our target market, for any business venture we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing.

They would rather buy some new sneakers than invest in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or FUBU, and they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives them “Status” or that they have achieved their Dream. They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities.

With the help of BET, and the rest of their Black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has even jeered them, saying he doesn’t want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than ever before!). They’ll continue to show off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them.

SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them. One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture.”Talented Tenth” he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some “form” of success. However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn’t read that the “Talented Tenth” was then responsible to aid The Non-Talented Ninety Percent in achieving a better life.

Instead, that segment has created another class, Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness does not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance.

When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of their goal. Their so-called help organizations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community.

They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not to the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM)

They do not understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own , as a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two pay checks away from poverty. All of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our rooms.

Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to read, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are “helping” their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels. By the way, don’t worry about any of them reading this letter, remember, ‘THEY DON’T READ!!!!

Now that you have read this, I want to get an ongoing discussion on the topic. I want everyone who reads this to post your opinions of this letter. Do you feel that is true. If so, in what ways? How can us as the African race get away from these stereotypes or accusations that are raised within this text?

Remember that in order to have progress you must address the issues pertaining to your people so please keep this in mind and educate your friends and most importantly

Black Nigerians are worse. Majority don't read. All they want is money to spend on imports. Do Nigerians even remember that all the clothes they wear are produced in textile factories in other countries? Creating jobs for other economies and pretending false status. Spit on their faces.

A friend of mine yesterday was arguing that Nigeria shd align with China more since our romance with the USA and UK and d West had yielded nothing. That China would be more amenable to helping us develop. And I asked him: wen will u understand dat our development is our own task? Must we continue to be slaves to others forever? Who did China enslave herself to before developing?
Now, China has built and donated the AU house in Addis Ababa to AU,and by extension, Africa. Do u think that wouldn't entitle her to some say in our affairs, or even trade concessions? Must we jump from one master to the other?

Personally, a black person is better off avoiding black people like a plague.Black people will gladly pick the poo from a white person arse than give a helping hand to pull up another black person in the rain.

I used to think it was purely a trait African Americans acquired from years of abuse and slavery. But,African blacks and Caribbean blacks are EXACTLY the same self hating blacks. Black people deserve poverty and all the misfortune that befall them.

Look at Africa or Caribbean, the black countries refuse to trade with themselves! Instead, they import what their neighbor has in abundance from Asia,Europe etc. They hide under "immigration" to viciously treat citizens of their fellow countries with the worst form of inhumanity and wickedness, yet white people even without visas are worshiped in the same countries. Why? Instead, they fight and undermine themselves for no reason at all apart from their inherently evil jealous minds. They hate us more than they hate whites, the only thing they like an African man for is his p..enis and wallet.

Lasting Chang begin at the individual level the author of that pieces you wrote sound like genuine white dude preaching some sense to help the greedy, selfish and hateful black from our sorry state. We black are our own enemy. For example we hate each other for personal disapproval. Also kill and hurt each other for dummy reason, we brag about shitts and spend money on worthless thing without thinking of investing for our retirement. We derive pleasure in been praised for lavish spending and fortune squander. We don't have deep thinkers instead we rely on other people to write our own histor for us. We have no shame if been a consumer instead of producer. We shout racism when we can't get our way. instead of doing things that would make us stand out for each other we do things that make us kee each other down for ourselfishness and greed.

If by AKATA you refer to African American (AA), don't you think they have sufficient reasons to be angry with Black Africans (BA), for mercilessly selling them into brutal slavery, and not making any effort to improve conditions in Africa, that can give the black race some dignity, considering that even Europeans were also escaping from Europe-bred oppression to liberty in the United States.

No doubts we Africans have dropped the ball, but what have they[Akatas} been able to do or achieved themselves? I am not asking for us to stick together cos that will take a lot at this point, but let them be consistent with what they want

You can't be screaming racism when it's directed to you alone and celebrating and cozy up with perpetrator when it's done to others. This alone will not let the black man be taken seriously cos even whites can see that we are our own enemies.

If they are angry about what happened 400yrs ago, I don't know what to say. Our ancestors who did the buying, selling and others in between are all gone and what matters now is how to make sure their pain and sorrow are not in vain through love cos the emotional slavery is bigger and more destructive.

The evil that made anyone sold, bought and held fellow human beings against their will is still very much with us. I would focus my energy on how to better the future generation.

Nigerians TODAY, are generally doing everything possible to ruin the next generation.
EXAMPLE . 90% of oil revenue is remitted to other countries, importing their junk generators, UNDERWEAR, used cars, fake medicines, etc. And most of these can be produced in Nigeria, creating jobs, and improving overall standard of living. But hell no! Those in charge prefer white Lebanese, Indian, and others that can help them steal money, and share in dollars.

So true. I remember back in the states, the black Americans treated me just as badly as the whites maybe even worse. It made living in America a pain in the neck because as a black African, one now has to deal with bigotry from both whites and blacks. A lot of black people are indeed self hating.

Most white people are professional pretenders. They are the typical wolves in sheep's clothing. They can dine with you one minute and tear you down the next. I consider them to be very dangerous because you can never really tell where you stand with them. Some of the racist whites are even marrying gullible black folks while they continue to practice their racism undercover. Once caught, the white will be quick to tell you that they are not racist because they are married to a black person. However, that is just a ploy, a tactic to allow them - the whites - to keep practicing racism their hobby without any questioning.

You are far too negative. And seem to have no concept whatsoever of the link between history/environment and culture/human development. Why not start by reading The Destruction of Black Civilization by Chancellor Williams? It's a wonderful history book that traces the course of black development from about 6000 years ago till today. In that book, you'll learn that the Africans of today are the products of events and occurrences in the short and distant past, many of which were totally beyond African, or indeed human control.

So you basically need to research more, in order to form an intellectual prognosis of the 'black condition', as opposed to this emotional ''I've given up'' nonsense, which you somehow seem to expect us to be impressed by.

Thanks.

Look Horus, you know you and I see eye to eye on almost everything. You see these days, I tend to see these types of threads as the very confirmation by the starters of their own impotence. The poster is part of the problem, as I see it. As are many of the most virulent and negativist critics of 'black people', who by their virulence and blanket condemnation of blacks, exhibit THEIR own 'self hate' and ignorance.

I have long come to realise that empty vessels make the most noise.

I believe that the BEST WAY to show one's Africanness or one's zeal to reconnect with our African personality, or promote an African renaissance is to exemplify it in one's own personal life.

For instance I can bet you the poster of this thread and/or many of his supporters are either christians or muslims.

See right there you have a problem.

You cannot have a christian or muslim on this thread attacking ''black people'' when by their very own acts of renouncing African philosophies, and adopting foreign myths, they have sold themselves down the river long before anyone else.

Or what about those who build houses? How many of their houses show any form of African design or aesthetic conceptualisation? Few if any!

Yet those same people are here too, attacking ''black people'' for ''selling out''.

I could go on and on..

That is why I sniff at all these 'conscious' threads these days. As you point a finger at other 'black people', four fingers point straight back at your forehead.
