That is True but you must not forget that when it is well with the head then it is well with the body but if it is the other way round , it will just be the other way round. If we av Good leaders at the helm of affairs the followers will be forced to be Good Gone are the Era of Adiagbon, followers were forced to be Good. Shikena! babseg: |

Hear urself out. Just don't turn to lookman is my own. manuelo130: He who gathers ant-infested woods should not complain when the lizards come visiting. I love GEJ. He is a man of great fortitude. He bore Amaechi's insult for a long time, just like the Boko Haram menace, and when it became unbearable, he rose to the ocassion. |

Nosa-Henry:. The simple answer is no. The best is benevolent autocracy. Maybe when things have been put in place and people are more cultured, naturally accountable, then we might try democracy. That is why the best periods in African history when black people developed a level of sophistication in culture, arts, governance and metaphysics were during the high points in certain African empires/Kingdoms: Oyo, Benin, Zazzau/Zaria, Nri, Nok, Kanem Bornu, Nupe, Mali(Ancient Ghana), Songhai, Ashanti (now in Modern, not ancient Ghana), Zulu, Ngola (now modern Angola), Buganda (now in Uganda) and of course Sudan, Nubia and Ethiopia/Axum etc. After that our "Micky Mouse" democratic experiments have been ridiculous. Babangida missed a massive chance to do what Suharto did in Indonesia and pull Nigeria from the doldrums. But he wasn't smart enough and lacked foresight (though he was streetwise like Maradona). Babangida only had very primitive survival and self-preservation instincts, the type of animal instinct the vast majority of Nigerian politicians exhibit, and is needed to negotiate the Nigerian socio-political jungle. |
