The federal govt. Led by GEJ should stop wasting their time in trying to negotiate wit a terrorist group. If he wants to negotiate, there are several aggrieved members in PDP as well as d entire country. It is clear that this goverment is very clueless how can you claim and agree a cease-fire with a 'deputy' commander while the real terrorist Shekau is still on the run endorsing attacks on defenceless citizens. Th e FG is just wasting precious time and resources all in the name of dialogue, you don't negotiate with terrorists who are hell bent on annihilating infidels and those that are not supporting their cause. The only solution i see is that the JTF should continue with the offensive in collaboration with the Civilian JTF until the terrorists are wiped out completely, else we'll just be going in circles. However also, if the government can find a way through the imams to continue preaching against them and making people understand that they (bokoharam) are only twisting the Quran so as to brainwash people to believe they are fighting for God against infidels because they've been implored to do so. But i know this will be very difficult given the fact that there is so much hate on infidels/christians which is as a result of indoctrination by the imams themselve - a handful of them i must say, they are always taught things that amount to hate of the so-called infidels. If the FG can successfully get the sincere preachers to preach the right thing all over, then i guess we won't have much to worry about. 1 Like |
