ActivateKruger: lol used these HE rockets 2.75 inch calibre most probably GAU-19 firing .50 calibre armour piercing incendiary / explosive rounds with tracers in between M134 minigun firing 7.62 calibre rounds most interestingly the targets were being lased by ground teams, the heli then used GAU-19 and M134 to soften it up and then finishing it up with HE rockets . interesting isnt it. from what i know heli borne guns when fired will cause some of the targets who initially escaped being hit/killed to duck / sprawl on the ground (instinctively or due to shock waves or flying splinters debris etc) so helis use their rockets to finish the prone /sprawled targets as a end game finisher. it is regular heli attack tactic. one of the fastest way to get 72 virgins with a bang 5 Likes |

lionel4power:the implication won't only affect aerial warfare if i am understanding you correctly, radars have endless applications, so what about stealth tanks in development, boats and other naval vessels? and if china has twarted stealth technology with this quantum radar development why are they also investing in stealth ?? |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Nobody: 12:14am On Mar 01, 2017 |
jakeporeshenko: if u go to the earliest pages of the technical thread , u will find detailed info on it as a matter of fact , the technology is still not perfect very rudimentary to say the least , it will need many more years before it can be used in real life conditions (not test conditions) and there r ways to hack it i have explained in detail as to how it is possible to hack a quantum radar and even explained the process with the help of LING (i dreamed her up) (u will find it in the technical thread) the Europeans and Americans r ahead in this but they r keeping it quite but kudos to the Chinese for working on it , lets see if they can get a working military grade production version within 10 years . 2 Likes |

lionel4power: F35 is not a first-strike platform It's also not "stealth" it's "stealthy" - it has a low RCS that buys it valuable seconds before detection B-21 raiders are being built to deal with this sort of thing It's quite frustrating that so many people obviously have no idea what the F35 is or what it's supposed to do. People Also forget that when it has its full production run it will be the cheapest fighter ever produced by the US Don't call it the "trillion dollar" fighter, call it the "85 million dollar" fighter. 1 Like |

jakeporeshenko: The issue is, the Quantum mode will detect some aircrafts but it's ability will soon be phased out. It's Quantum so trust the yanks to develop something else to counter it. I have been following that program for long. The only problem is that, a new generation of stealthy aircraft will have to be developed in response to such technology. |

Army of Cameroon V-150 Commando I've actually been inside one of these and it's a very, very spacious vehicle for its size. Even the doorways and hatch openings are quite wide compared to other wheeled APCs I've poked around in. Clearly built for big people in mind. 2 Likes

jakeporeshenko: The waters are very uneasy and rough down south in South-Africa, however i won't go as far as crediting the SA navy for the lack of pirate attacks in those waters. If this was the case, illegal fishing by foreign vessels won't also be an issue, but it is in South-African waters. The thing with Southern African waters is, Pirates don't exist in those areas. Operation Copper is a good example, there hasn't be any single SA navy pirate take down in Mozambique were the SA navy is deployed in nearly 1 -2 years of deployment. That's basically the difference. |
