Fashola's Law Has Caught Him Today. by Chanchit: 8:43pm On Aug 06, 2013 |
Some few months ago, Lagos state government anounced that there's no more space to bury people in Lagos, so they would need to start cremating the dead. Our dear governor's dad died some few days back, and he was buried today, instead of our Fashola to show us that all the silly laws he's making also applies to him, he jst showed us that his laws are for the powerless in Lagos state. I saw mobile police men with their hilux van packed around Labinjo street, near Bode Thomas, all the people selling food around Bode Thomas and its environs don clear for road. I later heard it in the news that they are doing prayer in Fashola's fathers house. When I first heard the cremating idea, I thought it was good, but now I knw its very bad, they are just trying to burn the dead bodies that belongs to the poor, while they bury theirs in a safe place. God punish devil. Who cares if the whole of Lagos turns to cemetery. Fashola, go and burn the paper where that silly law is written, cos it can't stand..! 13 Likes |

Laws in Nigeria have always been "for them" ie the poor masses. The thieving political class are usually above the law. Hypocrites! On the other hand, may be the law has not been sanctioned for full implementation. 3 Likes |

On the other hand, may be the law has not been sanctioned for full implementationv yet. The dead are still being buried daily in Lagos yet none of the families of the deceased has complained of being forced to cremate their dead. |

Who cares if he wrote catching or caughted? Atleast you guys read what he wrote but if you don't understand then let me break it down for you. Fashocrook is a senseless governor, a thorn in the flesh of poor lagosians. He makes laws only to turn around and break such laws.the law said cremate or burn your dead loved ones but for the rich and powerful bury your loved ones.bwahahahahahahahahahahah chei and the interesting part is that some people are defending the lunatic on this thread. nothing lasts forever, one day all the evil laws he is making will turnaround and haunt him for the rest of his life. Senseless governor ruling over confused people 2 Likes |

I don't know why Nigerians tend to go haywire whenever someone makes a simple mistake, instead of them to correct the person, they would start crying. Even the whites that owns the language do make mistake sometimes. I even corrected the mistake before I saw that people have started crying already. I heard Seun would start paying people with Phd in Nairaland very soon. And Fashola should lead by example, then the whole of Lagos would start cremating, you know we like to copy. 1 Like |

For the avoidance of doubt: 1) Nobody is forced to cremate the dead, rather the law gives you a choice. 2) The law also enables the government to better manage its morgues, by giving the government the right to cremate corpses that are not claimed after a specified time frame and after due notification has been given. 3)The law regulates crematoria. 4) I repeat, the law does not force you to cremate corpses. 2 Likes |
