bgees:

It is time Amodu does away with Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
The boy has never impressd with d EAGLES.
Ogbeche and d boy that plays in belgium (Akpala) should be invitd.
Talk about premiershp players, they are always poor internationally.

see logic undecided
how do you choose international players then?

Why the complaints? didn't i say that we were crappy against SA? we let ourselves get carried away with the scoreline against an abysmal side.

The problem with Super Eagles is Nigerians who are too eager to embrace mediocrity

Amodu better try some new qualified hands, apart from odemwinge and the other ikechukwu up front the rest are not putting in much.
Re: Road to World Cup 2010 by DrKitaun(m): 5:55pm On Jun 09, 2008
what point are u trying to prove Mr Texxxazzpete ?

those boys won, either way heavens wouldnt have fallen if reverse had been the case tongue

even if they play poorly right now, let them get the results now and we worry about the cohesion in the team later cool
Re: Road to World Cup 2010 by Fadajasi(m): 5:58pm On Jun 09, 2008
I just dont know what our problem is,perhaps its the attack
Re: Road to World Cup 2010 by tkb417(m): 10:11am On Jun 10, 2008
Of course, we will beat S-leone by a lone goal. beat Equitorial guinea by a lone goal or two
when we get to the nations Cup proper, then mali, angola even Burkina faso will beat us.
I dont want to mention Ghana, CIV, Cameroon nor Egypt cos those ones na overkill

up Super fowls!!!

@Fadajasi
our problem is we have a set of guys that are not motivated to play for us. They are not hungry for titles with Nigeria. what they want is der $ and GBP playing abroad!!!

But, what beats is you will see a Messi begging the argentine coach how desperate he is to play at the olympics, even Kaka but here in 9ja, our coaches will have to travel miles to beg people like Mikel to go to the olympics.

Bring Yemi Tella boiz and all will be settled. Stop using players that feels they are bigger than Nigeria!!!
the NFA should be bold to wield the big stick and stick to whatever disciplinary measures they unleash on erring players. These Players need us like we need them. when they turn der back on us, we do the same thing.
If this can be sustained for a few years, sanity will prevail and then, we can be back to the good old days of the Yekinis, the Adepojus, the Okechukwus and even the Odegbamis

Re: Road to World Cup 2010 by bgees(m): 8:23am On Jun 14, 2008
Just take a good look at that team. Its not a great team. Ynu have majority of them playing in the EPL, were football would have been impossible to watch if not for ARSENE WENGER, C.RONALDO & FERNANDO TORRES.
And they all go there just because of money. WE HAVE AN OVERRATED TEAM. And i blame the sporting press(brila fm,complete sports etc) for decieving nigerians.

We will qualify for d nations cup,but i'm sure we wont get to d world cup.

Gone are d days when the super eagles played better dutch football than the dutch themselves.
