@Everyone:
Have you noticed how those who are against Ngige are not proud or mention those they support? The best they do is mention the party grin

Sincere 9gerian: Aside the deportation incident, Ngige does not have a better credibility when compared to other candidates. Yes he tarred some roads while his STOLEN mandate lasted but you and I know that governance is much more than fixing roads. What happened to health, education and other sectors? What was the state of institutions of govt then? What was the state of the state capital after his 3 years rule? Was he able to attract industries to the state? How many jobs did he create? How did he improve the state's hospitals and schools?

Who says even Ifeanyi Ubah, who I consider a very poor candidate for the job, cannot tar roads too if elected?

My candidate for the election was Soludo. But in the absence of Soludo, I'll support the lesser evil, Obiano. Chris Ngige, Tony Nwonye and Ifeanyi Ubah are all bigger evil. Ngige made his already bad situation worse by siding with his Lagos masters and supporting an evil deportation

Its indeed very obvious that u are very despicable human being...just because u want to denigrate the olympian personality of Ngige...u infer that he lacks credibility compared with Obiano on one hand and Ifeanyi Uba,Andy Uba,Tony Nwoye on the other hand....Someone who got to the acme of the medical profession-a profession you yourself aint practising owing to your idleness and timeless devotion to Nairalanding and Ass-licking,became a governor and performed without stealing a single kobo as Obi would have long used any corrupt allegation to finish him off all these years.

If at this time you are still hopelessly blinded to the fact that Peter Obi out of eternal fear for the Ngige phenomenon used that issue to smear him which is akin to trying to score an off-side goal with a view to deflecting people from seeing the real issue of installing a puppet then I make bold to conclude that you are beyond redemption

egift: After Ngige win this election, the OP will regenerate with another ID on Nairaland.

Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige - All the way.
So you are happy your brother Ngige is in the same party with Yoruba Benjamin Adekunle
Re: Anambra Guber Polls: Say No To Lagos District Officer, Ngige by wirinet(m): 12:18pm On Aug 30, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: The gubernatorial candidate of APC, Dr Chris Ngige, has shown through his response to the recent satanic deportation of Nigerians in their fatherland, that he does not have a mind of his own. Chris Ngige was expected to rise above the Lagos godfathers, show that he has a mind of his own and condemn the evil deportation.

Unfortunately, he failed the acid test. Ngige joined his masters in Lagos to justify the deportation.

Chris Ngige and his masters in Lagos neither showed remorse nor apologised for that unfortunate incident. As big as South Africa is, the people and govt of South Africa apologised to Nigerians and Nigeria last year for repatriation of some Nigerians following the yellow card saga. But Ngigi and his masters in Lagos, full of arrogance and disdain for the poor, would have none of that.

As powerful as the president is, PDP members at various levels still disagree with some of his statements and policies without fear or favour.

In the light of this, Chris Nwabueze Ngige, has shown that he does not have a mind of his own. He has shown that if elected governor of Anambra State, he will be a Lagos district officier who takes orders from Lagos.

Therefore, Ndi Anambra will reject any attempt to make Anambra a district of Lagos. The gubernatorial ambition of Chris Ngige is therefore DEAD ON ARRIVAL

You allow prejudice, hatred, greed and pride to becloud your soul. You expected Ngige to spew the usual Yoruba hatred you and your likes are popular for on Nairaland, sorry to be disappointed, there are still lots of sane and sensible igbos out there.

I never supported the deportation of igbos or any other nigerian from lagos, but you people are using the unfortunate episode to spread hatred and score cheap political points. What did you expect Ngige to do? Demand apology from Fashola or else, what? He organized a meeting between fashola and some igbo leaders. What did any other person do? What have governors Obi done outside the whinning letter to Jonathan? What about all the other Oti igbo socio-cultutal-political groups, like Ohaneze, Massob, etc, what did they do? What about the various threats and ultimatums, what has become of them? Then why are you so fixated on Ngige, what of all the other governorship candidiates, did any condemn the deportation and demanded an apology also?

You Igbos should thank your stars you have prominent igbos in the other mega party outside PDP/APGA. You come here and boast 40% of lagos residence are igbos and you fail to realized than Igbos needs to align to some extent with the party that controls lagos. Do you even know the number of igbos in APC in lagos? So to you all of them are traitors now.

Wily, if your family have a dispute with Mr Benjamin, why not go sort it out with him. Put your hatred away and allow the good people of Anambra to elect their Son for rapid quality development. Anambra should be at the top not in Fedelity Bank Vault.

BTW is Bode George, Faruk Lawal and Gov. Alams not members of the PDP?

Everybody who followed what happened when Ngige had his first shot at the Anambra government house will bear witness to the fact that this man performed because his administration was enshrouded in uncertainties, he fell out with the big boys and decided to get the masses by his side hence his pretentious meticulous service
If this man should be allowed to get another shot at the anambra executive seat, Anambra will turn to a southwestern state overnight and all his deeds will be at the whims and caprices of tinubu and fashola. A word is enough for the wise, Anambrarians be aware that all that glitters is not gold. Ngige is not the saviour you need.

Its a pity that tribal bigots and ethnic acid-talkers have done an incalculable damage to 2 otherwise friendly tribes

The saddening part is how some 'educated' folks will equate the gaffes or faux pas behaviour of a miniscule number of individual from an ethnic stock to paint the whole of them as bad.....its even more alarming, discomfitting that these same people are even prepared to disown their own father and label him a traitor if such one decides to as much as hold a different view and opinion as against their own mob/clannish mentality

To call Ngige a traitor or even lie maniacally that he didn't do anything about the saga when infact he did a lot as stated by you to get the true picture of events which eventually showed that it was Peter Obi that failed to follow thru on the line of communication already established between ANSG n LASG who unfortunately did what it thought was best in under that prevailing circumstances is to me a height of rambunctious pettiness

Pray does an average Igbo man or youth wish that situation or relationship breaks down between you and the yorubas irretrieveably despite all that is at stake for you people? Hence playing divisive and dangerous politics of the precipice

-Would Ngige have supported the deportation if he was not in APC?

Anambra will turn into a SouthWestern state just as Edo state under Oshiomhole has turned into a SouthWestern state

And a SouthWestern state is where millions of your people are tropping to daily because of the allure of good governance

Why are some of you incurably tribalistic and blind to reason like this

It is either you are apathetic to historical facts or outright clueless. There has never been any time in history when Yoruba and Igbo are friendly and will not start by mere inconsequential dreams of a bystander. I do not give a hoot about idiotic “line of communication” as stated in the above post.

The fundamental point in the saga is a character such as Babatunde Fashola who moronically masquerades around the jungle called Nigeria as a SAN knew it is an abuse of inalienable human right to forcefully relocates a citizen of a country from one city to another under the pretence of destitute. I pray almighty Allah shall strike him with insolvable poverty.

I can't fault you on your opinion that Ngige is not better than any of the other candidiates, that is your opinion, the general opinion of anambranians would be known on november 16th.

At least you are aknowledging that it is illegal to detain and deport NIGERIANS in their homeland, an not making it an igbo hatred induced affair. Ngige did not supported the deportation of nigerians, he was trying to find the middle ground. He would have gained nothing by spitting fire and brimstones. At least the Lagos state Government realized its mistakes and tactically appologised, blaming it on overzealeous officials. I am sure such would not happen again.
And I am still asking, what have others outside the ApC done? nothing. I would have expected aggrieved igbo human right lawyers to sue fashola and the lagos state government to show support and love for their igbo brothers.

Ngige like any other person has the right to contest for any elective post as long as they are qualified and they possess the finncial power. It is left for the electorate to decide. Although in other societies, someone like Ngige and his type who had stolen the people mandate in the past would be sanctioned with a ban, but then this is nigeria, Political theft is allowed, condoned and even rewarded.
