Mazi_Omenuko: Hi all,

Welcome to the maiden edition of this Short Story competition. Its open for all nairaland members excluding regular writers at the Literature section; this means that if you have a completed work already (either at the Literature section, sexuality section or Diary section) then you cannot participate in this competition (sorry).

So its going to be for fresh writers (or newbies). Here's an opportunity to test out your writing skills.

Just one work does not make me a regular writer
I guess I'm still qualify? cool

I checked to see if anything concerning Foxy was there but was proven wrong. I thought Foxy *something* completed "Attai the Player from Kano....

Anyway, I am too unserious to take on the position of a judge even though I am much available.

I don't associate disappointment with my name but you need to remind me of something. I was in a haste and did not see the date for the competition. Please brief me

I knew it was just a matter of time before somebody comes up with an observation.

I do have a suggestion that the voting should be done through the like button because definately the so-called 'regular writers' will be bias with the exercise.

Every dckk, tom and harry can click on the like button that's why we need the judges. Moreover, why will they be biased? Over what exactly? The writers here at the Lit section knows what it takes to put up a story, so I'm certain they won't let their emotions over a handle get the best of them.

Also, its a team of judges, so if a single judge is biased, its easy for other judge's votes to super-impose his/hers and make it irrelevant; just like a jury in a law court.
