How retarded does one have to be, to go about generalizing in such a despicable manner?

There are some ladies who see relationships as a meal ticket i.e the fortune hunters, they get bitter over gifts like flowers, Real women with an already high standard of living appreciate gifts like this more, they're colourful, smell nice, make the bond between you and your partner stronger and they symbolize some wonderful thoughts about the relationship, a lady who gets pissed when you buy her flowers doesn't like you or is just a gold digger.

This has nothing to do with being gay or Mr. Cork i only asked if you could collect and if you can then you are justified to castigate however everyone has preference just because you like flowers doesn't mean everyone should. also for white women loving flowers it has more to do with perception, even if they don't like it, the media has stereotyped receiving flower as being romantic. obviously you know this a capitalist ploy to keep the flower business booming. *i think i went way too deep* undecided

You people want us to act like Africans and throw away the weaves and extensions.

You people want us to act like non-Africans and embrace other people's lifestyle (from your comparisons)

You people want us to show love and express deep emotions when it is clear most of you just want to dig under the skirts

You people want romantic gifts but most of you suck at pure romance. You still google up text messages for your girlfriends

You want flowers? You really don't act like you want flowers. How many of you even decorate your houses with flowers? Do you even know what flowers are used for? What if we give you and you keep them in your freezer? Pffffffttttttt

As a secondary school student, I thought flower romantic due exposure to American high school films and romantic novels.

As an adult, flower ke? Please buy me a good novel and you are in my good book.

Question to Nigerian based men;
Imagine if you are ill and admitted to a hospital and your girlfriend comes to visit with a flower, what would be the thing that would come to your mind?

If I see myself in such circumstance, I would think, why didn't she bring a home cooked meal or ovaltine or locuzade boost or an inspirational book, wetin she want make I use flower do for here?

Our culture doesn't see flower as an acceptable gift shekina. And why should it? When majority of houses in our respective villages are surrounded by flowers.

Personally I love flowers, in fact I consider it the most romatic gift so I think it depends on the girl's personality.

Well, foreign ladies appreciate flowers cuz they have lots of lovely flowers dat smell nice.. If u've seen a rose plant u'd understand.. We don't have those here, all u'd find is plastic rose. BTW its not our culture.
I might turn dis argument arnd and ask y guys dnt give their ladies flowers... Good luck finding a real bouquet (we don't evn use dem at weddings).
