CLOSE TO 6000 DIVORCED! WHAT A SLAVISH WAY OF LIFE ARE THEY INTO? THEY WERE MARRY AS TODDLERS (BABIES), YET ABOUT TO BE REALLY MATURED FOR MARRIAGE, THEY HAVE BECOME UTTERLY FLABBY. VIRGINAL VIRTULA (VVF) & FLABBY GENITALS ARE THE MAJOR CAUSE OF DIVORCE IN ISLAMIC WORLD (due to hit-and-run mentality of devotees). THE RAVEONUS MALLAMS CANNOT LONGER BE SATISFIED WITH WHAT THEIR JOYSTICKS HAVE DAMAGED! MARRIAGE HAS SUDDENLY BECOME A 'KILL & GO' THING! YET MANY ARE FOOLISHLY CALLING FOR TODDLER-BRIDE SYSTEM OF MARRIAGE because IT IS OUR RELIGION.

Go to benue, edo, ekiti, bayelsa, rivers, akwa ibom, enugu, abia, e.t.c, alot of women are making money without education,

What they need is empowerment and also a change of policy that gives women room to decide for themselves as early as possible in life.
you just hit d nail straight on d head my friend. Their women folk need more liberty to aspire to achieve things for themeselves. They seem to think a woman's "shelf life" ends when she is done bearing kids. There's more to womanhood than virg.inal sex(early marriage) and child bearing. Their culture is such dt keep women in ball and chains....making virtually half d population dead weights.

what the govt can do is scout around for men [including non-nigerians from other african countries] who would be ready to marry given the right incentives and opportunity eg jobs for the couple/s, etc.

there's also the issue of how to get the gay guys more interested in marriage than other stuff.

the dwindling pool of marriageable men in nigeria is indeed a cause for concern.

Its not scarcity as such; the men marry the girls at 9 and divorce them at 17 so as to marry other 9 year olds.

In North, their religion support divorce, no crime just keep a maximum of 4 and be recycling them from the younger stock. 9 yrs things.

......You see, such is mostly prevalent in the north despite that Islam permits that men can marry more than one wife,..yet in the South-East,South-West and south-south women find ways of hookin up to a man they call their own and even fight to keep him from intruders,.....Fellow Notherners lets begin to educate our women on how to maintain family lives that will enable them keep their husbands to reduce the rate of divorce. With the increase in the rate of desperate single women it will take only the grace of God for a man to welcome back a woman he has divorced,..in most cases also they(women) feel they want to leave the house when there is a small quarrel with hope that their man will come begging them. Not in the now when there are uncountable competitors asking for a space to become the new second wife...Young women;shine your Eyes....

Tell your sharia-sick-yerima to abolish sharia and girl-child marriage, and your condition will be a thing of the past.
Instead yerima left you to go and spend foreign currency to marry 13-year-old girl-child; your bokoharam does not help issues.
No other tribe can help you.
If you women renounce islam and believe that JESUS IS LORD and come to our churches, before december you all shall be hooked up.

I don't think anybody concentrated on what made me scream. 5380 divorcees!!!!!!!!!!! When did they get married? Why were they divorced?. The problem can be solved, first beg the husbands to forgive and take them back then the remaining 2620 can be taken care off. Lol

Its not so much about the dwinlig pool of marriageable men,we need sex education to understand that the chances of producing female child is always higher than that of male, more men die venturing and taking risk to survive.all our dying soldiers and Boko Haram Indegienes are men leaving more widows and vulnerable children..Government should Braistorm on this issue cos we're heading towards danger.

adamooye5: No fewer than 8,000 women on Thursday matched to the Zamfara Hisbah Commission, seeking the state government’s assistance to enable them to get married.

Led by the Chairperson of the Zamfara Widows Association, Hajiya Suwaiba Isa, and the patron, Alhaji Sa’idu Goshe, the women said they were not living a normal life and needed husbands to become whole.

“Many of us cannot afford two meals in a day because there are no men to support us,” they said.

The patron said the association had over 8,000 women, comprising 5,380 divorcees, 2,200 widows, 1,200 orphans and 80 others, whom he said, were looking for men to marry.

He said the women also needed assistance to purchase household items such as beds, mattresses and other basic necessities needed to move to their husbands’ houses.

Goshe appealed to the commission to assist the association in screening suitors for the women.

He said the screening would determine the suitors’ health status, source of livelihood and ability to maintain a family.

It is unfortunate and deceiving that women dont marry men for their look. They marry for money and when that money finishes she dump him for another man.look at our future young wives going after older who have their agemate as daughters at home for money. After these aristos have suck and Bleep the nutritious juice in their body the runs girls will be looking for whom to trap with their remnant. That is why men dont accept their pregnancy cos we are smarter. As for the muslim ladies they should not be wearing hijab to cover their sexy bod.mrn go for look.maybe cos their men go for todler that is why the marriagesble women dont see husband to marry.
