that will result in the greatest violent greater than boko haram.. to be honest with you, mimiko is only reducing his chance by seen hanging around jonathan. any politician who know the politics know they should not hang around jonathan.. it will kill their political career. if all effort fail. we would replace the apc and pdp.. |

Mimiko himself cannot get 20% of the vote in his own hometown at the moment. If a gubernatorial election were held in ondo state right now ,Mimiko will lose in his own hometown . |

Atouke:An incumbent who could not pull up to 50%, in fact, he had just 44% of the total vote casted, even with all his so-called achievements. Ask Fashola to define 'landslide victory' for you! That is when you score 75-85% of the total vote. 1 Like |

take dat: An incumbent who could not pull up to 50% of the total vote casted. Did he or did he not win the election? Iroko is a power house in SW/Ondo politics sentiments aside u must respect the man.He withstood the biggest political godfather in SW thifnubu, thats huge. 3 Likes |

Atouke:He wrestled Tinubu and won, Good for him but his influence is limited to his State. For him to be a major influence in SW politics, he will have to plunder all the resources of his State to expand his frontier. |

take dat: He wrestled Tinubu and won, Good for him but his influence is limited to his State. For him to be a major influence in SW politics, he will have to plunder all the resources of his State to expand his frontier. All he needs to do is deliver his state.Afterall no gov. in nigeria today can boost of political influence outside his state. when he delivers ondo all GEJ need is 25-30% in all the other remaining SW states and it will be game over. he will do even better in Lagos because of its cosmopolitan nature. |

For him to be a major influence in SW politics, he will have to plunder all the resources of his State to expand his frontier. Just like Tinubu did? Who told you it cannot be done elsewhere? If Tinubu expanded from Lagos to cover South-West any good politician of Iroko standing can do time and over again. |

Atouke:did you say landslide? Mimiko scored 35% of the votes cast with his two opponentsscoringa greater combined votein an election with less than 15% turn out of registered voters!landslide indeed. @topic Jonathan and his army of NAIRALAND supporters mostly from south east are evermore delusional than I thought if they think anyof those politicians listed can deliver any substantial votes for Jonathan come 2015. Indeed for any south west politician, association with Jonathan will be the kiss of death. The southwest is virulently not on Jonathan's side. This should obvious to any one interested in the truth. One interesting note in a discussion on the prospects of Jonathan's Chances in the sw, is it not remarkable that jonathanians from outside of the SW are the ones making most of the projections for south west.erners? Apparently they understand south west politics more than we do! 2 Likes |

If obasanjo the father of pdp can lost election in his polin unit then who is jonathan. Then be prepared for the shock of your life come 2015 as Jonathan garners substantial votes across SouthWest, especially in States like Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos while only Osun will turn in few votes for him! why will GEJ be using other party members as campaing coordinator? Where are the SW pdp members? I think this may couse problem btw him and the real pdp leaders in those states. |

Shine1177: Take note that Senator Rashidi Ladoja is a force to recon with in Oyo politics and he holds Accord Party firmly, many members of PDP led by Alao-Akala has team up with him to wrestle APC. Remember that ACN has to form alliance with Accord Party in Oyo before they could produce the Speaker House of Assembly while Accord Party member was pick as Deputy-Speaker, as this alliance has collapsed the Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker can easily be impeached since ACN/APC does not have the simple majority, the Accord Party member can form alliance with PDP House member to produce the Speaker base on their numerical strength; there we go ...Gbam, Tinubu is a burden to the South West not an asset, unfortunately Nairaland APC supporters would blindly disagree |

This joker keeps proving he is indeed a retardeen. He needs to save his head first from pdp before thinking of capturing south west. We do not need him here as yorubas are wiser now. Divide and rule cannot work here. Mimiko is a bastards and will learn his lesson soon, as for ladoja, no comment and ogd? Last time I checked he is supposed to be smelling in jail |
