fresh out the oven The Initiation I wonder why I never stiffened Seeing all those pile of rotten evil The mass of broken skull Piling round the room from down to top They called it ‘The initiation” A passageway for a heart of destruction I learnt the seven book of meditation Lethal it was, even to alter the existence of my own creation And I went through like a soul in a trance Never mixing in the naked horror of the mass The mass of friend that was with me They never stopped believing they were in a dream But I knew better Knew what we had sworn ourselves to weather Knew you would never serve the devil and live This thought sat in the deep recess of my being But it went on The initiation amidst the devil’s drum I drank two skull of blood Chewed the heart of the new living born Pierced the heart of my weaker mate Sang their tunes with a voice so great Saw the queen and gloried in her reign Pulled out the third of my pumping vein Got them all impressed The executioner said I was the best Worthy enough to dine with the queen Cos I was the best student he’d ever seen But I knew better Knew my life was at it tethers For no one could explain why After all this years my mind would go wild That I would wring the breath out of my own heart And kill myself with the best of angelic smile Maybe in a chance I would tell them in a haste That there at the initiation dance, my heart was in a maze And I was doomed for this day To live and die by the act, what a waste! |

i couldnt help another City of mad Women The town located at the hill A town filled with gory mystery With tales trailing its existence to bad roots And its neigbours scared of the plague that forever rules No sane being walks the street Its inhabitants is plagued by the beast And there forever you would see Lunatics, senile deranged walking beings City of mad women Blood sucking piercing venom Dancing to tunes no normal ear would hear They are known for the night crying of owl And the morning death of young soul Wish I now to unravel this mystery Dare i? To exchange in chain, a free me? Let them live their ways and breathe Nemesis catches them up, if it’s pleased Am just omniscient noting Till when it ends, I know nothing |

The Gathering The holy day comes And the gregarious sanctuary beckons Ragged men in their Sunday’s best Anxious mothers with children suckling their breast They come in droves They push and shove through the streets where rabid dogs walk half mad men the sky is dark, so are the days they all assemble into the edifice with marble floors which Welcome the homeless bound with forlorn hopes Screaming voices blare into silent skies Obese prophets ,fatter wives Spew words from the ancient text To the wretched and perplexed. To steal from these poor and rejects Hope it all forms Hopeless hope, disillusioned hope, Starry eyed hope, naïve hope, vainglorious hope psychotic hope Yet it is thread that holds the rock. woman with the lost eye and the thousand yare stare Locked in the circle of post traumatic stress , Clings for answers in empty songs Beautiful hair disheveled clangs the cymbals screaming” chase down the devil” Old lady bent with sorrow and pain Is fifty and looks eighty She still sees her sons all, long gone in wasted death. She clutches the ragged book as a sorrows passes through her like a wave. Praying that the messiah will save Every man here a story of despair, Every one forgets his sadness here, Yet knowing that like patient ghosts, the sorrows will still appear A gathering of delusion A gathering of misery The only constant thing here is heavenly silence. And the pastors tithe, The same answers, and The temporary euphoria The harmattan comes and goes The rain comes and goes, The gathering remain Waiting in a limbo, Waiting for nothing |

Insomania Watching movies till three like a manic Sleep, beautiful sleep Come and carry me into your waters so deep Herbs and priton Valium and soft songs In vain try to seduce A gift I could once refuse I feel the first sign And prepare with a soft sigh But alas it isn’t And no it wouldn’t Touch my fevered brow Insomania destined to drive me into a raging maniac |

WHEN TRUTH IS TOLD let truth be told when lies become old, when falsehood, my oral cistern can no longer hold; let the beauty in my eyes reveal its deceptive wile, when my cozy lips loses its hypnotic smile. from sole to crown, its been glitz and glamour, when my soul goes down, so will my feats for armour. let truth be told when my bones become frail, when the wind of time blows away my youthful veil; let your heart be put to test when these truths are told, perhaps its fiery love would plodly become cold. my sole to crown you adored with its twinkles, when my soul goes down, will you abhor its wrinkles? let truth be told when i walk out through life's doorsill, when, like other buried treasures, i take a dust-seal; let not your heart grow weary when these truths are told, only your sworn oath of love make sure to uphold. 'twas for sole to crown you crossed your heart, when my soul goes down, until then do us part. not WHEN TRUTH IS TOLD. |

Tongue soaked in tasty red Painful water; it blots the bed Vampires are at feast Doom strikes whoever sucks least Bursted veins, brawled roars Shattered windows paving soars Of beasts; two dead couples lays Tickling death in its night rays Hunger exhumes lost appetites Like woods to termites Carcasses left for vultures It was a night of less surfeit pleasures! 1 Like |

The afternoon clouds vapid with impending rain, His twisted mind, tortured from life's pain. All his loved ones ripped by gory fate, So, all of the world he utterly hates. But these emotions bottled up under his skinned abode Must be expressed, lest he may implode; So his wooden handgun he calmly wields, Soon, will he reap a vast bloody yield, As he slouches to the creche down Wesley Lane To smear the walls with their budding brains! |

Now where were we? What was it? What was it? Jog my memos If you please... ...and he brings sawdust sawdust of all things... ...tiny motes... motes that float... innocently... Till I sneeze wrath... ... Again and again I go From now till tommorow... ... And after it all I've displaced homes Changed landscapes Left people forlorn ... Ah. That was it. That was what I remember. But still, I wonder... |
