Chanchit: Why the few people wei come no sit down for front na..? Owkay, e be like say na VIP get front seat.
Lets not forget that Wizkid would have gotten his full payment before performing, thats why he would gladly perform to empty chairs.
I tell bro, even though he must have been paid before showing up, he will be demoralized performing to few people. Apart from poor publicity which I don't think is the case here, the low turnout could mean he's not liked in Abuja. It's saddening to find out that you're not wanted.

Davido is selling out concerts at O2 ...wizkid is struggling to get attendees inside Abuja

I think Wizzie's recent fallout with his fans on twitter is really telling on his popularity

one word to wizzie "go back to EME...only banky knows how to manage you" undecided

Afam4eva: This is funny as hell. 500k per table? Are you Micheal Jackson? Thank God Nigerians are beginning to see through this scam.
no be 1 million people pay for Koko concert? Those who have 500k to pay for a concert don't want to see Wizkid and a bunch of unknowns. Wizkid isn't enough, if he had the likes of Flavor and Burna to assist, things would've been better. Just those two would've made a world of difference.

Of course people will pay for quality. Wizkid didn't realize that high school kids can't afford that amount. People who have that much money go out to see more mature artiste like Flavour, Psquare, D'Banj etc.

That's the difference btw Dbanj and other nigerian artistes. He is always a crowd-puller.

500 k for a table and they expect crowd to show up?just because they want to make cash?I think some naija artiste needs to get lessons on music business, now wiz-kid or if any of ur followers is reading this let me deliver the message to u,the message is that the cool way of making cash as an entertainer is that just organize a tour or concert, make it free!!!you can select national stadium as the venue so there will be so much large crowd and even so many people that do not like ur music will still come because its free and they have nothing to loose, now where to make the money on the concert is through endorsement, advert and sponsorship, these companies want to advertise their product and services and tours and concerts that are free will attract large crowd and companies will be willing to pay for the advert and they even feel its cheaper, have u noticed that most times you don't hear that p-square is on a tour or concert and they charge for tickets!!!the money they make from sponsorship and advert from different companies is more than the money they will make if they charge 50k per person for ticket fee, that is music business strategy, try that out and see, think out of the box!!!u think say na beans when you see the likes of lady gaga and co just doing tours and tours and u think they are foolish?

Choi! Wizzy bobo, na u be dis?
The category of people his fans fall under cannot afford to let go of such an amount.

He's really good, all he needs to do is work more on his lyrics so that his songs can appeal to the big boys.

When the show is not "Night of a Thousand Laugh".
That's the only show that i would spend such money on...
Imagine such show going on in Abuja and only few people knew about it.

adaobi123: Imagine 500k for a table undecided does money grow on tress nowadays ?
can you imagine? Thats what people pay whenever there's a show @Hotel Presidential PH. Artists charge so much money though and that contributes to expensive tickets and tables. The organisers even pay so much money for venue. This isn't good for Wizkid as it will seem his star power has dwindled. Shows are too expensive for everyone to attend.

Who get time for all these yeye musicians for abj.

Bring musicians like timi Dakolo, asa or nneka to any abuja bar and guys are ready to get high on their well composed music....

Even 2face or psquare may not pull crowd in abuja...except they do overpublicity like 'shouting it in our ears'. - even at that, people like me no go still come. Tchew. Oshisko

lol my husband wassup now? But remember, that concert was in Lagos. If he had tried that shii in ABJ, no one would've trekked the distance, not as much people would've paid for the concert and they would've sued his skinny ar.s3. Don't phuck with abuja boys, dem no dey dull. Even Keri Hilson's concert was a flop here.
