South African Marrying A Nigerian. Can It Work? by EvyE: 12:51pm On Oct 23, 2013
Hi House. I am a South African lady in Johannesburg and i have noticed that there are so many Nigerian men around. I like how their bodies are but i can't comment more on their lives in general because i have never actually dealt with 1. I have always admired how they look and i think i would want such a guy for a husband one day when GOD blesses me. How are their personalities? How do they treat their woman and what happens when he gets old ( does he live u and go back home or what)? . I gues what m trying to say is what would be the advantages and disadvantages of being with a Nigerian men especially if u r South African

Why not if the obvious cultural differences ain't going to be an issue

I'd date a Mongolian for who she is not because of where she is from

@poster, my only question for you is that will you agree to follow him back to nigeria, when he decides to fully relocate back home? If yes, then you have no problem.

Stereotypes can be superficial and misleading..You'd soon be inundated with various responses many of which will show you how 'interesting' we are. My 2 cents on your issue is that you make the most of what you have where you are. Nigerian ladies are still SSS and here you are eyeing their 'birthrights'....wink
Easy babe, easy!

Re: South African Marrying A Nigerian. Can It Work? by Nobody: 3:45pm On Oct 23, 2013
You should get to know one first. It's hard for us to generalize that Nigerian men are a certain way, have a certain personality, etc, because that won't be true. Each would differ from the other. You have to take their tribes into consideration too, because an Igbo guy will be different from a Yoruba and an Hausa guy. Even within the tribes you'll find differences amongst them, so best to look at the individual. Anyhoozle, Nadia_SA's married to an Igbo man, maybe she can tell you about her own experiences.
