yeah happens all the time

i get attached too quickly

and when i lose something, its like the end of the world

the good thing is,

i spring back up pretty fast too.

Tossing and turning.

Shifting memories of my fingers scratching the earth

Asking questions of the dirt

And I know that it's privy to no answers

I feel smothered

I feel like I must document this fleeting moment

Not for posterity sake

Not even for my name

Or my lineage

Nothing that pretentious

I must type my smoky thoughts into my phone, 3am in the morning for absolutely no reason

So I got a query today
due to my lackadaisical attitude to work it did say
Well don’t know about dereliction of duty
but sure I’ve been lazy,

cos my minds all cloudy,

left me full of lugubrious animosity,
seeking an outlet for all this hostility
while fighting off my lachrymose sensitivity,
glaring at Mr. “miserly Stanley”
who unfortunately
is not been stingy
with his wordy query
Could have let on rudely,
and not in the least lightly
but I’m still an employee
so I must go easy,
retreat reluctantly,
while still hurting deeply

Next I’m going crazy
Now waging war against self is outright brutality
yet I’ll hand the blame to my mind only,
as its been busy lately,
skillfully
driving me crazy
pushy, bossy,
taking away my sanity

Can’t give in already,
must evade fatality
elude these bouts that’s even kind of clumsy,
with fingers slippery
greasy, naughty,
taunting, clingy
and yes so unfriendly

But now you must let me go,
let me rise from this “low”,
these bouts of depressions NO
I must take control.
