I attend the Redeemed Christian Church of God (R.C.C.G), but I do not believe it is the best church ever. I am concerned that many R.C.C.G members tend to think of themselves as superior and others as rivals. God called ALL of us and has given everyone work to do. We should see others as partners in getting our Father's business done. We should encourage and support one another.

In my opinion, Jesus didn't want His children to see themselves as rivals but as brothers. No bigotry, no competition.

Luke 9:49
And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.



What matters is your personal relationship with God, not the church you attend.

Let all of us Christians join hands to drive this spirit of rivalry and competition out of the Church.

The person who said it here might have been joking, but I hear/see it a lot in church. They use terms like our "rivals, competitors" in referring to others.
We (RCCG members) are usually so concerned about being the biggest and fastest growing church.

i'm not against the RCCG, only against this competition spirit i've seen. i think it is a distraction. now, u may not see it in ur area (i've heard someone say there's d least competition in the Apapa parishes) but i see plenty of it in my area.

I never noticed that though I guess it could be happening. And I dont think wesley meant it like that.She might have meant it ministered to her the best.

I wish really that Nigerian churches care about their members enough to feed them with solid spiritual food as opposed to milk-level-word that I had witnessed since I returned 2 years ago.
