Ejigbo to Ikotun road is there and nothing has been done about it. Are those people there not paying their taxes. That road is a major road.

That doesn't nullify the fact that those areas I mentioned get water from the state government. And for the areas you mentioned, I have no idea but will confirm.
Meanwhile that nullifies the lie that Fashola has ignored water supply in Lagos cool cool cool

It nullifies it completely cos you said From Agege to Ebute Metta, and those areas i mentioned falls under that broad category you mentioned.

You should rather be more specific by saying Agege and Ebute Metta.

they should mention the roads.
if 16 roads are constructed in Mushin, that will be nice.
However, of what sense does it make when there are no good roads on Ayobo and its environs?
And you claim to have constructed 16 roads somewhere.
It is propaganda.
Fashola better buckle up cos 2015 will shock the whole world

Goddex: The FG is constructing many more roads in Abuja than what Lagos state is doing but we don't get to hear this much propaganda. Lagos need pipeborne water like most other cities and not these noisemaking when a 2KM road is asphalted.
So everybody would have to live in Abuja in other to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

If den give a reading and comprehension story with question saying 16 roads was built and they supplied you with one example picture of the roads. So, at the end of the story if den ask you how many roads were built, you go just say na only one road because you saw just one picture?

This is how you people fail WAEC.

You people are seriously worse than elementary school kids...

All these insults just because I said that I can only see one road in the picture. Bros, I beg try to dey accommodate contrary opinions, it is called civilization. I am not one of PDP e-rats, so take your mind off that. But, in Nairaland, the unwritten rule is if there is no picture, then it never happened, that is why Sahara Reporters had to post pictures of Jona drinking ogogoro with his South-South people to prove that truly our president has drinking problem.

So, post pictures or it never happened. Before I forget, I beg who be the fine yellow girl with faze cap beside Fashola in the last two pictures? Poster, I beg send me her number.

calabar - itu road in Akwa Ibom by Akpabio is almost all the roads Fashola has done since he became Governor
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) on Tuesday handed over nine network of roads at Lekki Peninsular Phase II, Lekki, saying it a fulfillment of his electioneering campaign promise to focus attention on provision of inner roads in his second term,
The Governor who spoke at Lekki added that it is consistent with the fact that having addressed the major carriage ways like Eti- Osa-Lekki-Epe Expressway, Funsho Williams Avenue, Murtala Mohammed Way and Lagos Badagry Expressway, the next focus would be the neighbourhood roads.
He added that everyone would see across the State if the administration is not building a brand new road, the Public Works Corporation is resurfacing existing roads in the day and the night.
The Governor added that one of the things observed by the government is that allotees were not coming to develop their land and this prompted government to intervene and locate one of its residential estates-Elegushi Housing Estate within the scheme in order to begin to populate the estate.
Fashola reiterated that he observed that between his last svisits and now, some allotees have responded by developing structures on their land, a development which he observed as a sign that the investment and policy of the government are all working.
He emphasized that government wants to see more allotees come forward, take possession and develop their land in Lekki Scheme II, adding that the development of the infrastructure is part of the government’s strategy to address the housing shortage problem by providing sight and service schemes for citizens
“We now have to decide whether people who have held allocations since 1996 and 1997 are. truly allotees who need the land to build their home or who are speculators”, the Governor added.
“I speak of some of our blighted areas like Ijora-Badiya, Agege, Shomolu, Bariga, Orile, Ijesha and Ikate where we are intervening through Lagos Metropolitan Development and Governance Project (LMDGP)”.
“Last week, we went round to see the completion of about 15 road projects in Agege, storm water in Badiya, school undergoing construction in Ijora and drainage projects in many of the challenged areas”, the Governor stated.
The essence he disclosed is that the programmes and policies are all inclusive as government intends to ensure that nobody is left behind.
“This programme of multi-pronged infrastructure ensures clearly that there is no local Government where work is not done by this government whether road, school, water project or housing project and the State Government is intervening and providing support in every Local Government area in the State“.
“Currently, 13 roads are still under construction. We have just awarded four new roads and we have 20 outstanding roads at various levels of implementation. Therefore our work will continue here as it continues in other parts of the State”.
The South West Manager of the CCECC Construction, Mr. Stone Hingbin in his contribution lauded the State Government for the confidence reposed in the construction company which started in a very small way in the State as well as avowed the Company’s commitment to always try its best in terms of quality of the projects it handles and delivers them in quality time always.
The Governor later cut the ribbon to officially hand over the nine roads before driving round the new roads.
Prominent among those who were present during the handing over ceremony were some members of the State Executive Council including the Commissioners for Environment, Mr. .Tunji Bello and his Works counterpart, Dr Obafemi Hamzat and Special Duties, Dr Wale Ahmed.
