Without a shadow of doubt, Gerrard is a better player than Lampard.
Stevie G does not get his credits because of his versatility, he gets drafted to every position in the midfield and sometimes play as a supporting striker.
Lampard is just lucky to be playing around the best players in the world(Ballack, Makalele, Deco, Essien etc).

Whenever he is dancing around the ball. . . .tackles fly in.

That's okay BUT saying that Benitez doesn't trust Gerrard in the MC position makes me wonder if we're talking about the English Premier League here or the Globacom Premier League.
