The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan on Community Affairs, Chief Julius Ogboru has stated that the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomole can’t match; Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in the area of developmental projects across the state.

Ogboru made this statement while commenting on the finishing strong slogan of the administration and noted that the Governor has done well in his three point agenda, in many areas, such as completed and ongoing infrastructures projects, free health care service for Children from 0-5 years and his micro credit scheme that is still on till date are evidences of his good administration.

While noting that among the 36 states of the federation, Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan is the only Governor that has come up with a peculiar programme of “Delta Beyond Oil”, describing the Governor as a man with high innovation and good intention for the people of Delta state. He therefore called on Deltans to continue to support his administration to experience more dividends of democracy across the state.

According to Chief Ogboru, “When you are far from the government, you feel the government is not doing anything but having started working with the state government, I now see that sometimes we stayed at a distance and start criticizing the government over things we know nothing about. A close look at what the administration of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has done and that of our sister state, Edo, you will agree with me that Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomole is shoe shiner as against the impression the people are having.”

“Take a drive around Edo state and do same in Delta state, that will convince you that truly, Oshiomole is a shoe shiner compared to the rapid development and the wonders the state Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan is performing in the state, more practical things that are on ground if you have visited Warri, Effurun, Sapele, Ughelli and Asaba area, you will be left with no other statement, but conclude that Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan is a performing Governor.”


Ogboru had advised all Deltans to support the administration of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in order to actualize the three point agenda and to finish stronger than ever, adding that Deltans should learn how to appreciate the good work of the incumbent Governor, saying that governance is not an easy task as a lot of people feel.
