You don't seem to understand the setting of the bible. The names you mentioned up there but cornelius were all Jews practicing Judaism. The programme changed swiftly when God forced Peter to eat what was naturally forbidden to the Jews. God was initiating a new dispensation of the church separate from Judaism.

Abraham entertained three angels unawares, angels visited lot too...not realizing who was escorting him out of Sodom. But, the book isn't saying we will see angels when we keep our doors open by being hospitable especially to fellow believers. It isn't saying when you do that an angel from heaven will visit to say you are called.

The first time was Abraham in Genesis 18. And he saw three men coming down the path and he hasted out to meet them, having no idea who they were. They were just wayfaring strangers, so far as Abraham was concerned. He set the table, killed the fatted calf and come to find out, who were his three visitors? One was the Lord Himself and the other two were angels. So he actually entertained angels unawares. And I think Lot probably did, not realizing who was escorting him out of Sodom.

Visitation for what exactly? Those are man made improvisation to make them sound closer to God than they really are. Whoever told you the author of a book condemns himself to silence so that any confusing aspect of his work should be left to people's subjective interpretation of it? If you wrote a book, does that prevent you from entertaining any questions about you or your book or does the book or, say, novel answer any question about who the writer is, where he lives, what he loves or hates, what prompted writing the book, his inspiration, etc? If I asked you any of these questions would you say they are simply needless because you had already written a novel? Wouldn't that make you look absolutely absurd?

My friend, I asked you questions that are still begging for answers.

Anyway, Jesus said it was expedient that He left for the Spirit to come. After He rose Je appeared to the disciples telling them to go and wait in Jerusalem to be empowered by the Spirit. The Spirit was initiated at the upper room, but spoke to the church through a mouth piece called apostle Paul.

Why couldn't Jesus say all things, rather He spoke in parables? He had to die, He had to pay the price to initiate Gentiles in to God's glory.

My friend, last days is not just today... Last days started after Jesus returned to glory.

Do your research.

All the things prophesied happened at and around the time of Pentecost.
