About Jaguar:

Sir Wiliam Lyons founded Jaguar cars with the intention of producing pure luxury. Perhaps to test his own success, when he revealed the first Jaguar car to the public, he asked the attendees of its launch event to guess the cost. Everyone cast forth a different figure, but their average was £632. Sir Lyons then pleasantly revealed the true cost: £385, almost half of what people expected.

True or false?

You need to brake differently with ABS?
That’s true. ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) works by releasing the brakes at the moment of wheel lock-up. This happens many times a second, and may make both the car and brake pedal shudder. For ABS to work properly you need to keep constant firm pressure on the pedal – think "Stomp and Steer".

Best New Car for Sun Lovers
Most automakers believe open-air motoring is for "casual" drivers. No one told Porsche. Not just a performer, the car has adequate room for adults in its two seats, admirable quietness with the top raised, plus surprising cargo capacity in its front trunk. If you're the casual sort, choose the modest base engine. Want more fun with your sun? The Boxster S is the way to go.

The Aeromobil transforms from plane to car by folding its wings behind the cockpit. They fit alongside a boom that houses a shaft for the rear-mounted propeller, and serves as the mounting point for the flying car's tail. Despite all of the extra bodywork, the Aeromobil will supposedly fit in a standard parking space, and run on pump gas. However, given that the Transition's Rotax 912 engine runs on 91 octane, Aeromobil owners may have to splurge for premium as well.

2005-2014 Ford Mustang
Starting price: $6,000 and up
IIHS crash test rating: Good
Why buy it: When Ford introduced the fifth-generation Mustang in 2005, it reinvigorated a muscle car market that was effectively on life support.

The Mustang makes our list because it gives drivers cheap access to horsepower in a elegant package with styling that withstands the test of time. Available, with both V-6 and V-8 options, the recommended version is the mid-level Mustang GT with the 5.0 liter V-8. Though the V-6 is slightly more efficient than the 5.0, the performance drop-off and lack of GT trim go-fast goodies makes the bigger motor the optimal choice.

What do you think - Is Air Travel Safer Than Car Travel?

Professional opinion - statistically speaking, flying is far safer than driving. However, it may feel more dangerous because risk perception is based on more than facts. Driving affords more personal control, making it feel safer. In addition, plane crashes are catastrophic, killing more people at once, which grabs more attention and makes people more sensitive to them. Car crashes happen every day and spread the loss over time, making their combined effects less noticeable.

But before you head out, search some things you should know about car service repair so you're not surprised by the results.

Saleen is best known for building superior, fast and stunning high-performance specialty cars such as the S7, a true American Supercar. Of course, they are also renowned for taking other all-American classics such as the Ford Mustang Boss 302, Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro and working their magic to bring horsepower and overall performance to a whole new level.

Now, it appears they are ready to take on the electric car market as they recently introduced the all-new Saleen FOURSIXTEEN at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event this past week. Shocking but true, Saleen proves it can also improve the performance of an electric car and turn it into something truly special.
