Eldavido1: Nigeria is more interested in developing it's manufacturing and agricultural base. Those are the main drivers of nigeria's economic growth not oil. So the can overtake as long as we keep diversifying our economy it's all good. Few years from now oil may not be a dominant factor in world economy due to the discovery of shell gas. Chisos!!! Shell don get dia own proprietary gas. Ewelewe ooo. Oya change dat thing to Shale, ASAP 2 Likes |

The unfortunate thing for both Angola, Ghana and other country just coming to oil market is that they came quiet too late. Some oil giant countries of which Nigeria cannot be push aside has occupied the market and cut gud deal for themselves, oil market is losing value as new technologies that will not be depending on fuel are being invented and are overtaking the technology market, more consuming countries like USA has found large deposits of oil and gas in their country so they no longer buy, australian and russia presence in the oil market is a formidable challenge to small countries wit oil. With all the above and many more, Angola and Ghana should prepare as they will have a lot of their oil to drink. 5 Likes |

China is said to have a huge deposit of shale gas too, though yet to start extracting. That left of us with India and by the time USA and other countries start exporting there products you can imagine what will happen to world oil prices. currently USA is the largest oil producer in the world ahead of Saudi Arabia. 1 Like |
