jayseehe: this means the gubernatorial election will be an easy ride for APC

Omisore should just concede defeat now, except if he has hopes of rigging the election.

You don't need Ifa and TB Joshua to tell you PDP have perfected plans to rig Osun election going by their speeches and body language since last week. They tried it and succeeded in Ekiti, they wanna perfect it in Osun. These are laboratory tests prior to the general elections. I do not know why Nigerians are so scared of Ebola now when it has been ravaging us since 1999. Ebola has been killing Nigerians since PDP was birthed in 1998. From what I can see still only America can develop the serum that can cure us from this Ebola.

salaksmana: That's what they've failed to understand, when Oyinlola contested against Akande, people didn't vote for him, they voted against Akande, during his second term, people prefer he stay in office rather than having another person from Akande's party. That's exactly what will happen on saturday, we're voting against Aregbe not for PDP. Yes Omisore has lost some votes in Okuku/Odo-Otin, but come Aug 10 you'll find out that all these "bigwigs" are irrelevant.

Bro,leave the maths, but if u want me to cal it for u,I will surely do.......the people of ile-ife think only ife votes can make omi to become governor they have forgotten that it is normal thing for pple from same town with governor to support him....meanY,those pple in ilesha too don't want to hear omis name too,if ijesha ppl should vote massively too that will cancel that of ife and may even be more than that of ife becos omi will lost in ife east,if u remove mondakeke from ife east, thr will be nothing remain mondakeke will never vote for omi...same as ede,esa-oke,ire,apomu,gbogan,osogbo,ila,and so on......bro leave the maths oooo, except if thr is masive rigging that pdp can win apc....and if pdp win,u pple of osun state will hear ham......omisore is from my town and I knw him very well.

12 Things You Never Know About Iyiola Omisore

SPECIAL REPORTS

Aug 5, 2014

Otunba Christopher Iyiola Omisore has irreconcilable difference with the truth. He is a pathological liar. He wakes up a lie, moves around in lies and sleeps a liar. Since he came of age and through the journey of his life, Omisore has never been associated with the truth.

Fact 1 – He is not the original Christopher Iyiola Omisore. There is an elderly member of the larger Omisore family in Ile-Ife who bears that name.

Fact 2– Omisore was admitted into Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State in 1980 for OND, Business Studies.

A check on the Graduating List of the Polytechnic, Owo reveals that Omisore did not graduate from the institution. For a man who did not finish his OND, the following questions are apt:

1. How did Omisore who did not finish his OND claim that he has OND of whatever coloring Engineering?

2. How did this liar come about a Ph. D in Civil Engineering when he was never a science student? If he is sure of his Doctorate, Omisore should publish his Thesis in at least one major Nigerian newspaper immediately.
Fact 3

- His claim that Governor Rauf Aregbesola borrowed N430 billion is a lie. The loan of Osun is just N30 billion through the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) and N10 billion from Jaiz Bank as interest-free loan for building of schools. Part of the loan has been used to build Baptist Elementary School, Ilare, Ile-Ife. Omisore
coincidentally attended that same primary school.

Fact 4 – Omisore has never performed any contract successfully. Faforiji-Olode Road awarded to Omisore’s company by former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola was never completed. While he was in the Senate, Omisore’s company obtained the Solar Light project in Ife/Ijesa Zone for N6.2 billion from the Federal Governement.

He hurriedly executed the ones in Ife North, Ife South and Ife Central. Others are un-touched, including those meant for Ijesaland.

Fact 5 – Omisore lied that Aregbesola owes workers’ salaries. Osun workers are not owed any salary. Aregbesola has paid Osun workers their July salary in a miraculous manner. The trap of Omisore to turn workers against Aregbesola failed to click.

Fact 6 – Omisore is a dictator and not a democrat. Attendance of meetings in his house must be without dissenting opinion. Anyone who wants to live long and is to attend Omisore’s meetings must listen to him and obey without query or else….

Fact 7- Omisore is above the law. He bullied and threatened the staff of Ideal Nest Hotel, Osogbo, on the night he pummelled Senator Isiaka Adeleke and his men by eating at the reception rather than following their advice to go to the Restaurant to be served as other law abiding and well-mannered guests are expected to do.

Fact 8 Omisore disobeys the traffic light while illegally blowing the siren. If as an ordinary citizen, Omisore is above the law, should he be trusted with the destiny of Osun people?

Fact 9 Omisore has confided in his trusted aides that he would demolish all the O-programmes of Aregbesola. Indeed, he jokes with them that it will be O’Dabo to all Aregbesola programmes and achievements. Can Osun people afford this prodigal effrontery?

Fact 10 At each of his rallies, Omisore has been shedding blood. Two people were killed in Ifetedo the day he campaigned in Ife South Local Government. This has been the trend up till his rally at Ilesa where two members of APC were killed on Friday, July 25, 2014. Earlier that day, Omisore was quoted as saying that “I want
blood to flow in Ilesa”. Must a vampire be allowed to move close to power?

Fact 11- Omisore is planning to bring mercenary voters from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oke-Igbo, Ile-Oluji and Ekiti State. This has proved Omisore’s claim to people’s support as a lie.

Fact 12 – Omisore told his close friends and associates that he would rather abuse and lie against Aregbesola than face him in a debate that he knows he lacks the intelligence and facts to carry through.

He is afraid of the experience of Chief Richard Akinjide in 1979 Governorship Debate with Uncle Bola Ige. Ask Omisore to face

Aregbesola in an open debate and see the dirty buttock of his fowl.

Omisore has no manifesto and has never articulated an agenda of governance. How then does he expect sophisticated and enlightened Osun voters to choose him over a dialectician and savvy public that began his quest for public office with his Six-Point Integral Action Plan?

There are many more questions which Omisore, the born liar MUST answer before August 9, 2014.

talk2smat:
The estranged National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party and a former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has said that he will defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress in Osogbo today.

When contacted on the telephone by our correspondent, on Monday, Oyinlola, who confirmed that he would join the APC, said: “So it is. I am joining the APC.”

Sources within the APC told our correspondent that Oyinlola would join the APC today at the mega rally of the ruling party which is scheduled to hold in Osogbo.

The development has generated excitement in the camp of the APC because the former governor is considered to be very influential in the politics of the state just as his defection is seen as a boost to Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s chances of securing a second term in office in the election holding on Saturday.

It became obvious that Oyinlola’s crisis with the PDP was far from being over as he stayed away from the PDP mega rally which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo, the National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Muazu; and the leaders of the party last Saturday.

If Oyinlola defects to the APC as scheduled, then all former governors in the state would be members of the ruling party.

Aregbesola had disclosed recently at a campaign in Iwo that Oyinlola had become a member of the APC.

Aregbesola said, “When the PDP was united as one party, we defeated them. Now the good ones among them have left and are now with us. All former elected governors in the state are now with Aregbesola.

“The first elected governor, Alhaji Isiaka Adeleke, is with us; the second governor, Baba (Bisi) Akande is with us. The third governor Omo’ba (Prince), is also with us. I can say this but they cannot say it.

“But a former deputy governor, who was chased away from office is the one they are banking on to win the election, they are joking.

“Their candidate has never won any election and he cannot win this one. The only election he won was a gift to him from the prince and he did not win but the election was manipulated for him.”

The National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; Chief Bisi Akande and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, had immediately after the defeat of Governor Kayode Fayemi by Mr. Ayo Fayose in Ekiti State, visited Oyinlola at his residence in Okuku to woo him to join the party.

Oyinlola is expected to be received by the national leaders of the APC at the mega rally.

The Chairman of the PDP in Osun State, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, when contacted, wished Oyinlola well in his new party.

Olaoluwa said, “There is neither a permanent friend nor a permanent enemy in politics. We wish Oyinlola well in his new party. But we are expecting him to congratulate us on August 10. We are expecting his congratulatory message after we might have been declared the winner of the election.

“The people of the state are against Aregbesola. So, no matter the number of former governors teaming up with him, he will fail. Aregbesola will soon become a former governor because Senator Iyiola Omisore is winning the election by the grace of God.

“The APC is now the party of former governors in Osun State. Aregbesola should be preparing to join the league of former governors.”
