Tom Ikimi was a one-time Minister of Foreign Affairs under the Gen. Sani Abacha regime. He recently quit the All Progressives Congress to join his old party that he defected from 10 years ago. Nigerian politics is mostly criticised for lacking ideologies which is the reason politicians are constantly defecting from one party to another.
