Nigeria's president has formally launched a national electronic identity card, which all Nigerians will have to have by 2019 if they want to vote.

Lols its an improvement but the thing is they are making the i.d hard to get it makes me feel like its only meant for the jobless people who would stay on Que for hours just to get it.

The card looks more like a dual purpose thing. so it means after 2015, no more Inec and deir permanent voters card thing...hmm, excess chopping from different angles

I pray we get this right. But with corruption still very much on the loose; stories of some people going to jail soon in regards to some form of embezzlement as relates to this is inevitable.
