Olodo if u are dere, u will chop more dan abacha, appreciate every little effort of govt.

Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body; it calls attention to the development of an unhealthy state of things. If it is heeded in time, danger may be averted; if it is suppressed, a fatal distemper may develop.

Yes it will do the work of an ATM card too. I watched it on channels news last night. The president used it to withdraw cash from an atm also pay on a POS.

I thought the photo on the ID card ought to be a PASSPORT photograph with particular specs....e.g Directly facing the camera, White background etc. Our president is posing for inside ID card....Shiooor to NIMC

Hope this one would last, my only concern is the master card part. If master card are in charge of the DBMS. Dont our leaders know that in world politics today these are sensitive datas, giving it to a foreigner its always a bad idea

Well bro.... You see thats the reason why I was kind of telling Moderato to move it to the front page and you said that it must surely make the front page that am too fast.

I've created a topic like that around 2am about BBM being arrived for Android/iOs only to wake up in the morning to see The same tread created 11am to make the front page

So bro... It's amaze me when people talks about other people's lives why there's is even worse....

Re: Nigeria Launches National Electronic ID Cards by titoetal(m): 8:44am On Aug 29, 2014
Waiting for Alert from NIMC to go pick my own.
The card will also be used for financial transaction both local and international payments. This first phase was awarded to MasterCard if you've registered already. More card managers may join the next phase.
We shall get it right one day I believe.

God Bless Nigeria.

This is reminiscent of the slave trade era when some elders exchanged their country men for a mere mirror cry

How on earth could an independent nation outsource information of about 170 million of its citizen to foreigners to handle? This is beyond me.

More baffling is the fact the said citizen accept this hook line and sinker without asking questions. #sicktothestomach

Pls what's the difference between this new card and the old NIMC card that we register for that we have the temporary national I.d card?
are we to register for this new card again or people that has the temporary I.d card don't need to register again before collecting this new card?
