Innoson is an assemble point. It is not a car factory. Cut us some slack. The way Amex will import computer parts from china and assemble and stamp "Amex" on their cases. It doesnt mean Amex are building IC and chips in ALABA market. Nigerians should be guided. We are not illiterates 10 Likes |

Jeeesus!!! see how sloppy these people are, If i had my way i will make these people suspend production till they put at least a better health and safety standard in place. Look at metals lying everywhere, technicians not having on protective and work gears, they cant even fill a car engine with oil properly. I'll most definitely stick to my Japanese cars that i can at least have 70% confidence in. 7 Likes |

hotwax: Innoson is an assemble point.Oga, no single company manufactures all d components used in its products. Talking about computers; pls open up the board of ur popular ''hp'' pc, notice d diff coys dat manufacture d chips and other components there. Same applies to car manufacturing. Do u for once think Ford, Mercedes etc manufacture all their parts demselves? They outsource, Mr. Literate. 29 Likes |

Abbey2sam:manufacturing, coupling is the same thing. you people should try n understand that. the coca cola u drink are d raw materials gotten from Nigeria? but they are brought here n then made here. even if he imports all d materials as long as they are assembled in Nigeria they are made in Nigeria. but innoson gets 70% of his spare parts from Nigeria. if we don't appreciate our products who will? Its creating employment, increasing our GDP, increasing standard of living and making our balance of payment more favourable yet all you guys do is criticise instead of encourage 14 Likes |

2tex:dont mind them. even consumer goods companies don't make 100% of their raw materials. As long as they are brought together and assembled they are made in Nigeria. if not so then about 80% of goods made in Nigeria are not made in Nigeria 8 Likes |

I could not understand why some of the workers are on bare feet? I still feel the Rome talk could be better than the pix am seeing.Simple safety tools and application should not be ignored all in the name of Rome being built in 1 million years. In as much we have choose to take this lane, all necessary melemeles must be attached. Workers warefare and safety is vital. congratulation to Jona, congratulation to the Ibos ! Prayer to 9Ja. 8 Likes |

Stopped following a particular transport company when I used their service from Benin to Abuja... The Transport company just replaced the Toyota hiace buses with Innoson's buses and men, I was uncomfortable throughout the journey. The seat was just too small and not comforting and there was hardly any balance in the vehicle... Just hope they've improved 2 Likes |

snipesdam:Innoson is never going to automate, that is his way of creating massive employment. At the peak of the ford model T production, there were over 300, 000 staffs resuming work at ford's factory. Money is not Innoson's problem, if he wants to automate he can always borrow the money to do so. While we toured the IVM plant in Nnewi, we were a little dismayed by the fact that many of the vehicle manufacturing processes were still rather manual. The impression created of vehicle manufacturing is that of a highly automated and mechanised process. Asked if he is hoping to get to that level of automation one day, Innoson waxed philosophical and socialist. 13 Likes |

Na wa ooo... This worksite is a complete hazard to both personnel and equipment! Complete violation of PPE rules... NO safety boots, hard hats, coveralls, handgloves etc How can someone be under heavy objects (no matter its support) without any personal protective equipment? Is there a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for this production/ coupling process at all? Haba...Naija can do better jare... I advise you guys take these pictures out of here...cos it could get this facility shut down if escalated to appropriate safety authorities... 10 Likes |
