Wtf is kano gonna gain for teaching her students french when many of them dnt even understand english(official language of nigeria)I respect your view. But Sir, in the World today, it is vital one is proficient in at least two international languages. Most Int'l organizations recruitment requirement specifically mention Proficiency in English AND another Foreign Language. Remember the school is bilingual not just a french school. Kano Indigens will Gain international exposure that will shape their thinking as well as the Language. The State Government will gain alot both in the present and in the future from this. @Bold: English Language is one of the BUSINESS Language in Nigeria and one of the OFFICIAL. It is not the "OFFICIAL" 1 Like |

PDP does not appreciate technocrats and political technocrats (I coined this). They rather have Nyesome Wike, the Mediocre education Minister to Rotimi Amaechi, They rather have Fitiri to proven Administrator like Marwa, They rather have GBENGA DANIEL to Amosun, they rather have Bode George to Fashola, not forgeting PDP will rather have Chief Iyiola Omisore to Rauf Aregbesola. 2 Likes |

Itz a sheer waste of resources.1.The school accommodate students, these students apart from Kano Indigens will pay TUITION fee and other levies. The monies goes straight into Kano State Account. 2. Graduating Students and other Kano State Indigens/Nigerians stand higher chances to be hired and occupy top management, Teaching and Non teaching positions in the school. These are TWO basic benefit of such initiative 2 Likes |

I benefited from the French cultural centre as well as the French village through the French embassy in Nigeria. I love cultural exchange but i don't know if it is the responsibility of a state government. I read sometimes ago that aregbeshola is planning something like that in cote d voire too. Jonathan is no where near "Performance" in any order. He's in the class of Shehu Shagari, Alao Akala, Emmanuel Oduaghan, Idris Wada, Suswam etc. I don't like to mention him when discussing astute administrators |

Hit if you ask meThank you. I have not been privileged to enjoy such estacode but I won't hesitate to jump into one should opportunity arise. Education is in the concurrent list, that is both States and Federal Government are constitutionally allowed to embark on any education project. It is not an exclusive of the Federal Government. Aregbesola/Aregberascal/Ogbeni/whatever is another sage in the making. Should he continue the way he is going, he stand a BIG chance to reach the feat of the Great Obafemi Awolowo or even surpass him. Only time will tell |

During OBJ's tenure a delegation of northern governors under the ageis of the then newly formed NGF paid a courtesey visit to Aso Rock. As usual, this visit always follows a list of grieviances and demands after the diplomatic azz licking and to which the spokes person for the group urged President Obasanjo to assist the goverment of Niger Republic in rehabilitating a 800km road linking Katsina via Maradi in Niger Republic up to the capital Naimey. Their reasons bothered on the fact that as northerners they had family and cultural ties with Niger and the greater Sahel. Barcanista I know you are ret@rded APC hack poster but you really need to wake up and smell the reality coffee. I have had the privillage to work for extended periods in Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Niger. In all my travels to these sahelian states, northern politicians and business men have huge vested interests in these countries more than Nigeria. Their connections are either ancestral by way of family lineage, marital or cocunbinnage or simply that most of the individuals cliaming to be Nigerian in these countries that I met are either at most first generation migrants or simply illegal aliens that migrated and settled and then prospered in Nigeria. They are no more Nigerian than any of the natives I met in these countries. Northern Nigerians see their sahelian cousins as Nationals in places like Kano, Sokoto and Katsina. You will be seen as a kafur slave. 15 Likes |

The reason this daft kwashiokor governor gave for citing his first school in Niger was that Niger is a peaceful country. Cross River is as peaceful as it can ever get. Why did your northern arab supremacist governor not build his school there? How can anybody blame you or your silly twart governor if not from the free oil money that you leaches are bent on gurgling If northern nigeria was an independent state dependent on their groundnuts do you think these selfish assh0les will remember Niger Republic? 9 Likes |
