@Araana.....you may want to join www.internations.org. Its an expat site and you can see where people are from. It's in categories of country, but also state. So,you can get in contact with Gh people that are currently near you. Which state in Nigeria are you, by the way?

It would also be a good opportunity to get some Nigerian friends also, and socialise around your interests.

How has Nigeria treated you? I hope well.

Off topic - Has anyone told you that you look Yoruba, before?

Thank you so much. Will check it out. Much appreciated smiley I have made some friends already, have even been invited to visit her hometown in the eastern part. Nigeria has been good to me. People have been helpful and accommodating.

You and a few of my work colleges have said that.

I'm glad my peeps are treating you well. I hope you will go to Enugu, in SE. I've not been there, but from what I have seen and heard, Enugu is really nice, green and the people are nice.
There is a tribe in Ghana, that has ancestral links to the Yoruba .......I think it's the Ewe people.

I think it's the Ga people rather. I have never heard about the Ewes. I would like to visit a lot of places in Naija before I go. I have a friend from work who is from that side so would like to visit there 1 day. Is that where you are from?

Hmmmm!! I'm a GhaNaija boy. Whenever the online rivalry starts, I just observe & laugh. In soccer, I support the losing side. I'm proud to be a GhaNaija boi (the west African giants).

I'm based in Naija but I visit GH occasionally.
Will be visiting soonest.

Aranna, nice thread. Kindly follow back.

Salute everyone. #bless

I hope one day the op will see this or perhaps someone who knows her can give her this message.

I feel really bad about everything I said. I hope I am not the reason why you deactivated your account. All I was trying to do was help you. I had no bad intentions. Just wanted to save you from the inevitable but I think I went to far.

I know what I said to you a few nights ago upset you and probably got to your head but I really hope that it did not do a lot of damage.

Since you are not replying to my mails and am feeling kinda guilty I just wanted to let this off my chest.

I should not have let my bad experiences become yours. I realise that I was wrong now.

Take care

Sad indeed! This is why we should be careful and mindful of the way we talk.. Inasmuch as we can all appear anonymous on here.

I myself..it was nice having her around. But from what I have noticed. People have been on her like flies which can be uncomfortable.. Someone would have done something offensive that would have made her call it a quit or she does not think she can find what she is looking for on here. Whatever the case may be. I do hope she comes back.

Lmao!

She won't come back. She's a taciturn chic.

However, I think the person that posted on this page, apologizing, knows better. I also think everything transpired via Email.
