people! I was as incensed as all of you when i first heard about the beating. The issue is that we must bring pressure to bear on all this people I am sure that if there were no video evidence of this assault, the navy authorities would have riggled their way out of it. People have begun several advocay group online. which is what these idiots forgot-the world has changed and their heads still stuck in the days of civil war did not take into conmsideration technology that can expose them and create a pressure group. The reporters from Punch newspapers that broke the story have stated that they have been receiving threat calls after the story broke. We must continue to mount pressure over this and push it to the highest authorities in the hope that these men are made to face a civil court and not a military tribunal!

The body of the ladies car was hitted by one of the naval police to have her give way.
But instead she took a horse wip from her car to flog the hand of the Naval police.


This is what really enraged them.

Senate as querried the Chief of naval staff over the incidence.if for anything the CNS would respond quickly knowing for the fact that he just came into the position not long ago and that Yar' udua can remove any1 at anytime,so for anyhting he would do something.

I have heard the naval account of the story. The fact that the so called officer first hit her car is civilian aggression and is liable to prosecution. Why should you hit a ladies car savagely?

Moreover, did I hear horsewhips? In which day and age do people in uniform still use such animalistic crude equipment.
