Sis there is nothing to appreciate there. Some of the posters pictures are even Misleading.

The Sheraton Hotel picture of the swimming pool. That swimming pool is ugly now and not as beautiful as it appears in that picture. Sheraton building is nothing to write home about.

National Theatre center is a pure mess. Made for beggars.

Eko hotel picture he posted. He just posted the outer view. Want him to posted view of the inner. Pix alone will talk

Lastly those are not buildings we should be proud o call beautiful. Check other buildings in other part of the world. Only the Container House of Eric Schmiddt alone will blow Central Bank of Nigeria structure
The NNPC towers are now pieces of sh.it with barricades and soldiers blocking the main road.Even the paint job is now peeling off and the International Conference Centre is also a very small venue.Nothing spectacular about it or is it because the walls are made of glass?Nigerians just love celebrating mediocrity and 'mumuity'

Thank you

Sorry to say this my fellow Nigerians, Nigeria is not fine/beautiful

The mistake those greedy leaders made then was to ask for independence.

Those white people would have done things far better than all these and it would be this generation reaping it and not that our fathers cool

Nobody should abuse me. JUst my point of view grin

''Those white people'' ruled you from 1897 to 1960 and in that time they built you not one university, not one expressway, and not one power plant - 63 years. Each year they exported your resources - coal, palm oil, cocoa, iron ore, tin, rubber, groundnuts, for huge profits promptly deposited in London. Chew on that for a second. The reason most of us are here - educated, aware, ambitious etc, is because of the mass public education initiated by post independence govts. Why do you think our grandparents were mostly village illiterates? The colonialists built very few schools - just for a tiny lucky few. At independence literacy rate was 8%. (It's 70% today) Without independence, you would be in the village like your grandparents were, illiterate and tapping palm wine for a living, so thank your lucky stars for black rule.

Hey Miss, don't get me wrong.

Nigeria at this stage should be putting up unique and stunning structures not regular "mediocre" structures.

Believe me, those structures can be found in Niger, Sudan, Ghana, Ivory Coast, etc.

At this stage Nigeria should have buildings that can match those in Brazil, Germany, etc.

And the little they have u still don't appreciate?? Give Nigeria some credit. We all know that Nigeria is lacking behind in terms of development but that doesn't mean we shouldn't appreciate what we have!

How does wishing for what you ought to have translate to not being appreciative?

Can we see pictures of hospitals, schools, and malls or even roads in Nigeria?

This is a random picture from Zimbabwe, a poor nation.

Another poor nation, Kenya.

Do these 'we are doing well' photos of Zimbabwe hide the fact that Zimbabwe is an economic cesspit?Isn't it Zimbabwe that uses the US dollar as its major currency today because tissue paper now has more worth than the Zimbabwean dollar? Abegii!!!
