Hmmnnn. Many 'speakers' are misleading people on this issue.
Love and infatuation are the same.

Infatuation is the first stage of love. It is *love* , but at the early stage. It is also more common among the youths. The younger a person is, the more chances of being infatuated in love. This does not mean infatuation is not love.

It's just basically love among youth, especially teenagers.

With time and experience, the emotional rush reduces and the infatuation dies down. Eyes become clearer. You now reason better.

Love passes through many stages. And the way we love also depends on our age and experience.

The main feeling in love is romantic attraction. All other feelings that come with it depends on individual differences.

Love also also consists of other things such as; attraction, affection, loyalty, intimacy, romance, sex, etc. But not everyone feels this in a relationship. This often depends on personalty, age and experience.

What many erroneously call 'true love' can best be described as 'ideal love'. It involves loyalty, faithfulness and 'unconditional' acceptance. But not everyone is like that.

Note: Not everybody feels love. Some people are not naturally wired for 'love'. People need to know that and stop pushing themselves on someone who is unaffectionate.

Some people just want sex or attention. Such people can be in a relationship without really loving that person.
