The normal expectation is for APC members to stand by Tambuwal, and for PDP members not to stand by him, and there's nothing in this statement that indicates otherwise. In my opinion, the author of this release could only claim to speak for the entire house if there'd been a vote on the matter and the majority agreed with this position. As someone who defected to APC earlier this year, Honorable Ogene is biased.

Am very surprised you of all people fail to realise how Tambuwal himself got the speakership position. Majority of PDP members in the house defiled all orders from above to elect him. Forget about the recent partisan posture of PDP members in the house, when it comes to their internal matters they stay together. PDP and Jona will be disappointed on this one. Some report already have it they are planning to sanction Ihedioha for hosting Tambuwal in his house same day after the defection.

There is the PDP evil and there is the APC evil. That is not what is at play here, afterall APC senators are also enjoying $1.2million salary. What is being asked is personal. Is GEJ deserving of another term in office. The answer is NO. The PDP knows it has people who are better but everyone has been partially bought.

Thank you for the questions.
1)There is no harm in trial, but it is proper we take calculated risks.
2) We have tried PDP enough, but I can't see the difference between a rogue and a thief. APC is not going to change this country.
3) For the past 16 yrs PDP have produced 3 presidents. Jonathan remains the most transparent of them all. He is firm and assertive with his decisions, although he isn't perfect he is better than the previous two. In terms of vision, the party has it's own while the president has his own vision which supersedes the party's. GEJ has a good vision for this country.
4) for the fact that he withstood the insurgency that started from the very day he took the oath of office, shows he isn't Lilly livered as opponents presents him to be. Electricity projects, Jobs for Nigerian youths and women (under Sure-p), Agriculture subsidy,restriction of Aviation sector , Repayment of foreign debts from Paris club m Swiss bank, becoming The number one balanced economy in Africa, my broda the list is endless. I am not biased, check my points and give GEJ credits due him. But I am sure he can do better. Also note that no president may achieve this much within 6 years with all these insurgent.
