Cheating in a relationship can never be justified. Most people cheat in their relationships because they feel unhappy about the things that are missing. In the process, however, they forget to pay attention to all the good things that it brings into their lives. This is true for both men and women. Different People have different expectations from their marriage or relationships. Unfulfilled expectations are often the trigger for women to look outside their relationships and cheat on their respective partners. here are six reasons why women cheat. #1 – Lack of Emotional Connection While a man is more likely to cheat on his wife for sexual reasons, a woman is more likely to cheat on her partner because of emotional reasons. While taking care of their husband and children keeps them busy all the time, they may often feel that pang of loneliness when they just sit down for a while for a moment of introspection. They may miss the romance and the little moments that they used to share with their partners. She may feel that she and her husband are like two strangers living together. So, when someone else gives them those moments they miss so much, they are likely to get emotionally attached to that man. #2 – Lack of Intimacy Women like to feel wanted. For them, intimacy means touching, kissing, cuddling, receiving surprise gifts; things that show that a man wants them and she is the most important person in their lives. So, when they are with a husband who constantly keeps on forgetting birthdays or that special candlelight dinner that she had planned, she is likely to feel unsatisfied. In such cases, while some women may end up becoming compulsive spenders or overeaters, others may get attracted to a man who can make her feel wanted. #3 – Lack of Appreciation While a comfortable relationship is a good thing, taking the woman and the relationship for granted may push the wife towards another man. Women like to feel appreciated and being told that they are beautiful and being treated like a woman and not just as a mother or a wife. Walks in a man who compliments her for cooking skills, her beauty, the way she handles things, and she is likely to feel tempted to cheat on her husband. #4 – Lack of Sexual Satisfaction Men are not the only ones who cheat on their partners for sex, women do this too. If a husband is more interested in watching a football game rather than spending some intimate moments in the bedroom, a woman is likely to feel dissatisfied. Some men also tend to withhold sex as a form of punishment, that is, they are upset with their wives about an issue, and so instead of talking it over, they decide to punish her by withdrawing from her sexually. Whatever the reason, a sexually dissatisfied woman is likely to look at other options outside of her marriage. #5 – Missing Excitement Believe it or not, there are women who love their partners very much, but just can’t stop themselves from cheating on them. These are the thrill-seekers who have a craving for something extra and are willing to do it at the cost of their relationship. They can’t even think of leaving their husbands. However, their need for feeling sexually desirable is so strong, that they will openly flirt with other men and cheat on their partners, just to experience that feeling. #6 – Lack of Trust Women tend to trust their partners completely and whole-heartedly. So, if you break her trust, she may think of taking revenge. Having an affair with another woman will surely make her feel cheated and angry. However, a man can break the trust of the woman in quite a few other ways. Basically, if she finds out about a big lie that the man told her or a secret that he has been hiding, her trust is going to be broken. She may never be able to trust her partner again, and may decide to take out her anger and hurt by cheating with another man. No 5 reminds me of my ex. Whether she cheated or not is hard to tell. But she cheated on me atleast emotionally and risked everything we shared together for another guy she just met at the time. She claimed to love me and most people around me said the same. But she broke my trust for her and the relationship never recovered. She wanted fun outside. |
