Ekiti State House of Assembly has approved the appointment of LG Caretaker Committee appointed by Governor Ayodele Fayose.

The House also confirmed the appointment 3 commissioners and empowered the governor to appoint 12 Special Advisers.

Nine members of the House sat today.

There are 26 members in the House and NINE form QUORUM and can sit to take decisions.

No impeachment of the Speaker.

Gbenga Aruleba of the AIT Focus Nigeria should be ashamed of himself for always lying for the APC

That's because some local governments are large, reason being that they're a fusion of close to 12 communities in some. Because of this, some local governments have 2 constituencies. It was the same internal crisis that affect PDP in 2011 that cause them to lose the Ogun , it is the same crisis that is happening now in APC. How can a governor does not have any of the 3 senators on his side ? Am so sad about it. How i wish they can resolve their differences on time or else both SDP and APC will loose the election.

You can imagine? Ogun and Oyo states to be taken over by pdp? That will be more better for pdp. According to you, the two states are deep in crises, meaning apc is full of propagandas and irresponsible wayward members who cannot sit down and settle crises abi? You can agree why I describe these people as fabrication workshop. Of what use is this apc party to loss as many states as possible to pdp? These are people without direction.

Seven members of Ekiti State House of Assembly backed by well armed policemen today impeached the speaker of the state house of Assembly, Adewale Omirin.

The seven persons were shepherded into the state assembly complex by Bayelsa born Mobile Police Commander, Selenkere Michael, to carry out an illegal act.

The police prevented 19 others including the substantive speaker from entering the assembly complex earlier today. one Olugbemi, was purportedly “elected” by the seven-man house as speaker.

This is saTANism in action! Where are worse off than Military junta Now.
