what happened to the high GDP figures attributed to Osun could it be that Wikipedia lied , what becomes of the NBS story on the largest GDP in Nigerian and their huge annual budget of states in the South West 4 Likes |

Embarrassing how virtually every state depends on federal allocation for sustenance. State government can't even raise funds (or manage resources) sufficiently to be semi-indpendent. 1 Like |

I even forgot osun has 6 universities... i forgot to include d state govt university called uniosun wit campuses in ikire, oshogbo, ifetedo, and okuku. Bowen university, adeleke university in ede by davidos father. and ow many of u know dat by next year papa adeboye will be relocating redeemer s university to d state of osun? Their permanent site is under construction there or even completed sef, dis will make it 7 universities |

Besides, Nigeria operated a regional govt so whatever you made in your banana country was spent in your region. Get a hold of the 1914 Report by Lord Lugard and see that the Niger Delta and SE made more money from Palm oil than both the parasitic north and southwest. |
