So the President is powerful?

If the LP member of House in Ondo state looses his seat because of defection (Just because LP was not divided as at the time of taking the decision) then Tambuwal is no more a member and cannot be speaker.

He should have moved with the 5 governors and hide under NPDP but all of those is over now and if he cannot prove that Sokoto PDP is divided as at the date he formally defected, then he should step aside.

. Pls dont forget that ayo adeseun and folarin of apc decamp frm apc to pdp and accord party respectively and nothing has happen to them.

If lawlessness breaks out, APC will not be the beneficiary and our democracy may be cut short

So all those encouraging Tambuwal should be careful what they wish for.

There was a chance for the court to settle this once and for all but Tambuwal withdrew his own case but refused to resign because he wanted to create this lawless situation we are now seeing?

Tambuwal withdrew his own court suit which tells me he was sensing defeat but will not do the responsible thing and resign.

The suit Tambuwal withdrew for amendment was the suit challenging the withdrawal of his security detail. He didn't not withdraw the substantive suit which was instituted to stop PDP from removing him as the Speaker. He already got a court ruling that the status quo be maintained pending the determination of the substantive suit. That ruling has not been set aside by any court of competent jurisdiction. Just a clarification.

It's not the APC. It is the political class and fallout of viable opposition. Prior to the emergence of APC, the PDP carried on with arrogance and impunity. The emergence of the APC with same attitude challenged the PDP in its own game. Both parties are made up similar zealots trying to outdo each other in violence and corruption.

Or like on this occasion loses his seat by default based on the provision of the constitution

The government is implementing section 68. Tambuwal challenged the right of the government to implement section 68 but withdrew his own case!

The truth is that Tambuwal is history

But the responsible thing would have been Tambuwal allowing his own court suit to run it's full course and reach a logical conclusion?

Why did Tambuwal withdraw his own case?

Tambuwal is the one being lawless here!
