It's easy to see that the lady in question was just a victim of being born and bred in the wrong environment. She probably had, and obviously still have, a difficult childhood; typical signs of poor parental guidance or even total lack of it. She was caught up with the wrong crowd during her tender and formative years and these are telling in the narrative.
