We are missing the point here. As stated by the US secretary of State at the UN Assembly in Feb 2003 was that the US neede to invade Iraq to destroy the WMD in Sadddams possession. Collin Powel held a test tube in his hand and told the UN Saddam had mobile labs that  could deplore WMD within 45 mins.

Collin Powel and US did not succeed as they didn’t get the UN approval. The official intention was not to get rid of a tyrant and that is the issue here. WMD was never found so was the war justified?
