CNN is not far from the truth. If Boko Haram is advancing western Nigeria, it is because that is where some of their sponsors have a major stronghold. Ask Thief.nubu and Aregbesola |

Most African Americans have never set foot in Africa. The western media is trying to keep it that way for some reason. The amount of misinformation that the average black American believes to be true about Africa is ASTOUNDING. 90% don't even know that Africa has separate, independent countries. They think it's one huge country with bush and wild animals everywhere. They're the victims of a very precise campaign of propaganda which began during the Civil Rights movement when 100% of black Americans were united against white oppression. The plan was to keep them here in the states while maintaining the status quo. 5 Likes |

Ije004: I live in the hood in Atlanta. Population demographic is 100% black around here. That's how I figured out that unseen forces have been trying to indoctrinate black people about Africa. Africa is bad, but the whole continent of Africa doesn't look like a village as the media would like people to believe. They're afraid of the possibility that black Americans might want to contribute. That's why they always describe the continent as a lost cause, so that black Americans can immediately become discouraged from doing anything to help. Who wants to help people that live in mud huts, and walk around half naked on unpaved roads? Its discouraging. They would need too much help. Care is taken by the US media to not give out the impression that Africa is making ANY sort of progress in any area. 5 Likes |

CNN have outlived their relevance in the media industry,i cant really remenber the last time i tuned in to CNN,not to talk about listening to their lies about Africa propelled by their gealousy about the ammount of resources they have got.in this age of the internet no one depends on the basterdized cnn reporters for anything happening arround the world,we all know how to get along about happenings arround us. 2 Likes |

ROSSIKE:I agree with you, a lot of these western media are nothing but an extension of their intelligence services. And they send a lot of subliminal messages, I won't be surprised if the Book Haram insurgency spreads to Western Nigeria, if anyone think these was an error, then you don't know how the western media operates. Like during the ebola scare CNN showed Niger as Nigeria, people thought it was an error. Far from it that was a subliminal message being sent. 1 Like |

To the average CNN viewer who has little knowledge of African Geography and security stability, it will be a normal thing to report about issues bothering on Nigerian security from Johannesburg, South Africa. It is a fact that Islamic Radicals with the name Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'Awati Wal-Jihad also known as Boko Haram has laid siege in the Northern part of Nigeria with their operations affecting popular cities such Abuja, Kano, Bauchi, Yola, Kaduna, Maiduguri as well as towns and villages in their stronghold of North-eastern Nigeria where it declared an Islamic caliphate. With no boots on ground to produce current videos and pictures, CNN and the West continues to negatively publicise Nigeria as a country and Africa as a continent. Reports from CNN Newsroom shows a reporter named Diana Magnay reporting Live from Johannesburg, South Africa, giving live updates about over 200 people killed in Borno State, Nigeria by Boko Haram with their corpses littered all over the street without any picture evidence. Is this the reason why we have the media? We all clamour for freedom of speech, freedom of press as well as democracy, yet the objectives of some big media houses is to drag the image of emerging economies into the mud by releasing demeaning reports about these economies. Nigeria was named the largest economy in Africa after its GDP was rebased, I did not see any report on this by CNN. They have not done any investigative report on how Boko Haram gets its finances as well as how it gets its arms. They have not done anything to help Nigeria as a country and as a place where they generate millions of Dollars in revenue. Let's try to give Nigeria a good image as well as vote out of office, those who have done nothing to restore the image of Nigeria 1 Like |
